Remedy can't wake Alan too. Alan Wake is becoming similar to DNF disaster.

I'll wait until E3 to compare it to DNF (which btw is looking very good for 2010).

Delays in development are not bad, TF2 took a while to come since it was announced, and that's a great game.

It looks like crap for an eventual 2027 release though.

More than they are ruining X-COM image? I don't think so.
If we get lucky it won't look much like a GTA4 mod... A delay is the better thing we could get, they'll have more time to get the game right.
I loved the 1st; didn't loved the 2nd game but still liked it; so I was already disappointed before with this franchise.

I bought the game in latest Steam sale and so far it plays exactly how I expected. A lot of dull, half-naked female characters, GTA bros, slang and coke everywhere, story is blend, Max does look like another gorilla from GTA who tries to be sarcastic but the spell is just broken.

I will probably finish it slowly but Rockstar shouldn't have gotten rights to Max Payne. They assimilated it instead of honored its legacy. If nothing changes, I won't buy anything else from this series unless it returns to its creators.
