Hi everybody,
I again gained hold on some money and I want to spend it in my favorite shop GoG :). I was just wondering what would you recommend to me Outcast or Master of Orion, if I dont care about genre of the game and I simply look for game with great gameplay and long lifetime.
If genre doesn't matter, then it would be really hard to tell you which one to get. Both have great gameplay and if replayability is what you are after, then MoO does have a slight advantage, but it is only slight. Personally I think the better deal is MoO, but only because you are getting two games for the price of one.

Both have replay value, so it's a toss up there. What does "great gameplay" mean for you? This could help us help you. Are you looking for immersive atmosphere? Engaging strategy? Do you like reacting to things in real time or would you rather ponder over your next move? Try to be as descriptive as possible of what you like.

I love when world adapts to my choices and I like when game has really deep atmosphere that simply sucks me in. I like both types of combat you mentioned, and in best case if there would be community mods.
I haven't tried either game, but from what I've read Outcast is pretty much all about atmosphere. I expect MoO would be a more detached experience, if likely addictive.
