Arkose: It's great to see BioWare not stooping to things like Horse Armor. Giving these things away for free greatly increases the likelihood of their major, non-free DLC actually selling.

The most worthless of all ME2 DLCs is the very one that actually costs money. It's Horse Armor for a new decade!

In fairness it's only $2 and that is a pretty decent outfit for Jack. Tempted...

In all fairness, it's worthless. $2 for a pair of virtual sunglasses? That do fuck all? Please tell me they're kidding.

Indeed I agree it is worthless, just like those silly avatars and t-shirts they sell for the Xbox live characters, they wont actually sell very many but nevertheless I am still tempted simply for the lulz of it.
Additionally, I've never had to work harder not to wind up in bed with every woman within reach... At the same time, more or less...
It seems to me that Bioware is more than a little fascinated with sex. Okay, so am I, but not in computer games.

I found this interesting.
Not because they plan on setting a new benchmark with the third game. But rather because Muzyka says "we're going do some innovative things in future instalments of Mass Effect."
Mass Effect was supposed to be a trilogy. Yet this already points to them planning further sequels. Interesting and not entirely unwelcome.

Like Star Wars?

Star Wars was originally meant to be three trilogies. Lucas went with the middle trilogy first because the first trilogy was pretty crap. Damn shame he forgot that reason when he started producing Episode 1.

You're saying there's supposed to be another three movies sometime in the future?
I'm pretty sure Lucas said in some interview that the main story is just Anakin's/Vader's rise, tragic fall, and final redemption - which is fully told now.

Originally there were scripts for three trilogies. All pretty loose, but enough to plot key events that happen in each. And, like I said, he went with the middle one first.
The ones that come after include Skywalker's attempts to rebuild the Jedi order which is alluded to in some Star Wars games. But it was stated by Lucas that he would not be developing that trilogy as films. But then the same was said of 1-3.

If he did choose to make three new movies he would have to set it decades after the battle of Endor because out of the original cast only Peter Mayhew and Anthony Daniels would be able to return. Hamill looks totally different from how he did (although i'm sure he would be keen), Fisher would be unlikely to be interested and kinda let herself go, Ford would be extremely keen on doing it which is why he should be let no where near it based on Indy 4 and while Billy Dee Williams would be keen he makes a living these days being a parody of himself.

I'm pretty sure he's given up on the last three, but yes, originally 9 movies were planned. I don't remember where I read that, but I know I did ;-)

We can still have the original Chewbacca though, right? It just wouldn't be the same without Peter Mayhew.

Chewbacca dies in the eu.
