phrequencyviii: Huhhhhh?????? This better not be a spoiler!
it's only a spoiler if my intuition is spot on.
Hearing these comments about Dragon Age and the mass effects are just driving me mad about not trying them, if only I wasn't so rigid with my anti-DRM policy and my hate for EA... Arrrgh ! Don't know how much time I'll hold until I move to the dark side of the force...

phrequencyviii: I was trying to get Kelly but suddenly the offer for Garus came up. It's hilarious

Sadly I don't think you can snog Kelly, I was flirting with her all through the game and never managed to get anything more than dinner
I clocked 19 hours when I bought the game.... but now im stuck at the planet where you go for the "smuggled cargo" that you got as a bone throw.... dang 3 robots (And I guess my guys are just a tad weak for taking on 3 of them at once...........)

Weclock: Just an FYI - that chart includes the Dr Pepper DLC which WILL NOT be available in any GOTY bundle.
FYI - I got it all last night. :D

What does that one include? Aside from heavy product placement, that is? :P

Probably some exclusive side mission/quest where you have to replenish your energy with a refreshing can of Dr Pepper!

Three pieces of headgear. Umbra Visor, Recon Hood, Sentry Interface (I think)
Just go buy a bottle of Dr Pepper (or three), go to the Dr Pepper website, and enter your code.
Worth it for the gimp-hood :p

Argh, they import their Dr Pepper so that means paying $6 for a can! Curses!

LOL
But seriously, I personally liked the idea of DLC until EA completely went overkill with it.

So you have to have a both the Dr Pepper and the game to get it? Only I'm planning on holding out on buying the game.

The only DLC I could stand (and enjoyed) were the Fallout 3 DLC. Great content, worth every penny (or point, whatever). Whereas EA thought hiding bits and pieces of game... stuff in cans of corn syrup water was a good idea.

Essentially, the Fallout 3 DLC was what I was referring to. I got it all and definitely got the most out of it. That's DLC done right.
There was also a freebie offered by EA for Mass Effect that you can get for validating your game online. Not a bad incentive. I can respect that. Certainly a lot better than some of the draconian shit going on with DRM of late.

Why isn't it? The items aren't vital to the game, and it gives everyone an "equal" opportunity to get it. Better this than making people decide if they would rather look like an Angels Sanguine or have extra maps.

no seriously, the head gear is pretty good
