I was watching the game over youtube. This isn't a Max Payne game. It isn't really like a MP game at all, except for the bullet time maybe.

*Max's monologues aren't funny anymore
*no graphic novel sequences
*no tvs (LORDS AND LADIES, NOOOOO)
*the cutscenes are all aweful, full of flash flash and photointensivity, you get a seizure
*autosave
*WEAPON LIMIT
*WEAPON LIMIT
*WEAPON LIMIT
*WEAPON LIMIT

*WEAPON LIMIT

Fuck you, Rockstar. Anyone buying this game is insulting the old MP series.

Well, I think the game is pretty awesome.
What do you mean "Weapon Limit"? Does the game limit the amount of weapons you can carry or something?

Unlike the previous games in the franchise, Max Payne 3 will limit the number of weapons the player can carry. The limit is two handguns and one larger gun.

I've watched about 20 minutes of theRadBrad playing. I've seen pretty much full walkthroughs of the first two MP games, too. So far, I've noticed it seems to have lost the very creative writing/metaphors/similes of the original, Max has been redesigned as a stereotypically-looking bad@$$ (Sam Lake was actually unique to look at, and stood out), and unless I'm mistaken, James McCafferty is not voicing Max this time around; that voice was wonderfully monotone.

So I'd say, based on first impressions, Max Payne 3 kept the grittiness but lost the charm and humor.

Well the loss of the creative writing and the like is due to Max 3 having been developed by Rockstar and not Remedy who did 1+2, so like any game that changes teams and/or studios it loses something in the transition since you have different people working on it and they have different ideas of what make game A or game B, well game A or game B

James McCaffrey is still voiceing Max and this time, they modeled Max after him (he also provided the motion capture).
And Max Payne with Multiplayer...nah this is not Max Payne anymore...
I'm in pain, Payne is dead.

Wait, what? Multiplayer? In a Max Payne game? Why?

Yep it has Team Deatmatch... it is cool feature...but not for Max Payne...
Anyone actually played it, instead of voicing whatever new thing does not sit well with what they think a Max Payne game is?
The games 35gb so I gonna have get console or be unable to dl (more or less) anything else in June
Me? I'll probably wait for it to hit GOG and buy it for $4.99 during a half-priced Christmas sale in 2018.

Watched 2 streams so far on Xbox... so yes the game got nothing in comment besides the Voice act and the IP Name ;)
