I'm in, thanks for the giveaway!

I prefer Desperados, I find them more ineteresting because they lived in a period further away than the Commandos.

Treasure: As for your thinking I didn't want the games, after I got the bundle I realised I already had the Commandos series from when it was on sale on the Humble Store(with the name "Commandos Collection") and Desperados 2 doesn't have a very good rep. I shouldn't have bought the pack without checking out my other gaming possessions first, but, oh well, someone will get to profit in gaming goodness from my lack of attention :-)

EDIT: So I've decided I'd like to be in for 4shiki, whose startling earnestness is intriguing and endearing. The games certainly justify it, so I hope I've found a suitable recipient who will commit to them and enjoy them as they deserve! Talking mostly about the Commandos here, I've never actually played Desperados, though anything that bears comparison to the former is undoubtedly quality ;)

Prefer: As a setting, Desperados sounds better. There are just too many WW2 games.

i prefer Commandos (being a game made in spain and the original of his kind), but always had curiosity about desperados and his turn to western :)

I do prefer Desperados. Too few games set in the Wild West, too many for WW2. I do like both settings, but there is something about the old West. The harsh environment, survival of the fittest, the first pioneers were rough and hard men. Life at frontier never was easy. Nor safe. Still hope to see Helldorado on GOG.

I'm in. I remember playing Commandos, but never managed to finish it, or it's expansion-sequels and never got around playing Desperados.

I think I prefer Commandos, because WWII works better as a strategy game setting than wild west.

I'm in!

I am one of those who don't consider history boring, history is a favorite subject. Of course here, we are talking about two different periods of history, World War II and the "Wild West". IMO both are interesting in their own way, but if I had to choose one probably I would choose World War II and Commandos. All these military campaigns and strategic battles have something fascinating in them. Plus, the victory over Fascism.
When I was younger I managed to play Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines, but I didn't have the chance of playing Desperados. I don't have any of them so I'm in.

Considering all of these games are on my wish list, I'm in.

I'm going to go with Desperados, I could be wrong, it's not like i did any research but there was probably less death with desperados than with commandos. Although there might have been more natural death from diseases and bears and snakes and wild west prostitutes and they probably died of old age at 50.

As for the manliest thing I ever did, either kill a spider, because what's manlier than that, or carrying patio stones that were over 120 pounds, they weighed as much as I do.
