Today I just noticed that an HD version of Majesty Gold was added to my Steam library. I bought the original a few months ago, and it's still in my games list. However, this new game is there too. The original release has also been removed from the Steam store, with only the HD version remaining (though it appears to include both versions).

I was pretty surprised, and it seems like it was just stealth updated, because I didn't hear any sort of news about this release. Kind of a cool thing for the developers and publisher to do. I'm trying it out right now.

Anyone else get this update retroactively added to their library? Tried it out yet?

Everyone who has Majesty should have it in their library. What an awesome move by Paradox, doing this kind of update for a game that's over a decade old.

I love HD remakes of old games. They don't change anything, don't break the fun, they just make them look smooth.

I love 2d graphics without pixelization ;)

According to the store page, buying the HD version includes the original. Hope I averted any heart attacks!

Thank looks really good! I thought they'd just end up reusing the remade graphics on the Android version, but I much prefer this.
