If I got a magic carpet, I will visit by air great and famous places of the world : Great Wall of China, Sahara, Grand Canyon, Great Sphinx of Giza, etc... All the travels I couldn't did yet, and probably never, sadly.

In for myself. If I had a magic carpet, I'd want to go across the oceans, skimming the top of the water and feeling like Errol Flinn as I pretended I was Link from "The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker". It wouldn't matter where I went, or what I did, so long as I felt that sense of adventure and the knowledge of so much freedom and expansion

Thank you, mondo. It would be good to get the old carpet out of the garage and fly a few more rounds. If it can travel to any game where magic carpets appear, I would travel to Britannia (between the time of Ultima 6 and Ultima 7). But in real life a (fast) magic carpet would also be great, because it would allow me to fly back to my wife in the evening even during the times when I have to work far away.

Well, assuming that a *magic* carpet would be worth a fair bit, I'd have to say stay right where I am, sell it and live in luxury for the rest of my life. :-)

Count me in mondo84 please. Thank you for this giveway. If I had a magic carpet I'd fly to distant, exotic and mysterious lands where no one has ever been to before.

Right now I would love just to go away, far from here...

1. I'm afraid of depths.
2. A carpet doesn't seem like the safest thing to fly on.
3. Without a windshield you can't go very fast with this thing without it getting rather uncomfortable with all the bugs flying in your face and what not. It would likely be a bit like holding your head out of the car window.

Hence, I'd probably use it to get things off high shelves.
