Force open door

Count me in, I'm ready for some bashing

You brace yourself and plant the crowbar between the door and it's frame as best you can. Bundy sees you and volunteers to guard your back as you try to force the door open.

"Hmm....something is definitely wedged behind it....." you say between breaths as you try with all your might to break open the door. "...come....on......you.....piece...of......gah, it's no good. I don't seem to be making any headway on my own. Care to join me?"

"I guess I can try....so where do I grip it? Here?" Bundy replies, grabbing one part of the crowbar as you grab another.

"Yes, now PULL........" You reply as the two of you bear as much pressure as you can upon the door & it's frame via the crowbar. Slowly but surely, the door starts to open bit by bit. As it does, you hear a loud *clang* as something hits the floor within the cell and the door gives way. Just inside the now open door you see that someone had torn the chair from the wall, and had wedged it(apparently) between the table and the door. The chair now lays on it's side near the sink/toilet. You look around for the source of the skittering you noticed before and are about to search the cell thoroughly when it appears......two more small creatures(the ones like the one in the tank collected on Day One.) dart out from under the bed and make a dash for the solitary corridor.

"Get em' quick!" You shout as you smack at the closest one with your crowbar, just missing it. You manage to hit the other one though square on the "head", squashing it quite thoroughly. The other creatures dashes past your legs and Bundy's as well, and heads into the hallway.

Not wanting to waste any bullets, Bundy grabbed his shoe and smacked it at the creature quite fervently while chasing it into the hallway. "I'm trying here.......gimme a sec." Bundy replies as he chased the creature around the hallway. Unseen by you(on how Bundy does it), Bundy makes a small knife appear from the toe of his shoe, and he stabs at the creature as it circles back towards the cell(cell 3). With a few more swings, Bundy is successful. As he pierces the creatures hide, it screams a shrill scream and thrashes about a bit before laying still.

"Finally." you say as you sigh with relief before looking towards the door to cell 3. "Now we can see what's up with that cell."

Going into the cell, you notice that the table is bare, but a small puddle of blood covers the center of the floor and part of the bed itself. Looking under the bed you find nothing, and are about to head out of the cell when you spot it......a body lodged in the corner of the room behind the open door, between the bed and the wall. It appears to be a patient, as he is wearing standard MHC patient wear, albeit with a number printed across the front of it.

Examine the body?

Yeah, Cautiously!

You check the body carefully while watching for signs of any further apparent dangers. It would seem the man is quite dead, and would appear to be a white male around 30-35.......a large gash covers his throat and you spot several small welts surrounding it(stings perhaps?). Either he died from bleeding out or some sort of poison. It's hard to tell which, though.

Checking his pockets you find nothing, but you do notice his hand has painted a small message on the wall nearby in blood....."Nunquam rursum in tenebras"

Head to Cell 1, check the peep hole

You open the slot looking into cell one and see only darkness. No light is apparent within.

Armed with Torch & Crowbar, I open cell 1.

stepping back from the cell I look over to see what is going on in cell 1

You try wedging your crowbar between the frame & door leading into cell one, but no matter how much effort you put into it the door won't budge. It must be locked.....and locked quite securely from the looks of it.

Looks like you'll need a key.
You see Staines trying to pry open the door with his crowbar, but he doesn't seem to be making any progress. You look through the slot leading into cell one, but it's too dark inside to see anything.

OK, In that case I'll Check out the peep hole for Cell 2....

You go over to check out the door leading into cell 2......looking into the slot on the door you see(again) only darkness. Testing out the handle you find it is unlocked.

I do, suitable armed with torch in one hand & crowbar in the other...
