I will Check out Cell 3. Does it also have a peep hole I can use first?
That's a big door. Level 4 clearance eh? Wonder how hard it will be to force our way through.
"Hey Charlie! What do you know about this door? Where does it go and how do we get there?"
As I'm speaking I attempt to bring Charlie through to the Guard Station and sit him at the desk.
While I'm here I might as well see what them doctors have been getting up to.
"Hey guys, it's starting to sound like them doctors are just as crazy as your crazies eh?"
I chuckle as I begin to search guard station for CLUES.

Rodzaju: I will Check out Cell 3. Does it also have a peep hole I can use first?
You try looking through the slot in the door to cell 3, but see only darkness within. The light must be off. Shining your flashlight within as best you can, you see BLOODSTAINS on the floor and also on the bed within the room. They appear to veer towards a spot just near the door itself, but from where you are you can't see into that corner(the corner near the door to cell 3 right next to the bed.). You also swear you just saw something(s) skitter under the bed itself when you shone the light in.

Continue trying to get the door open?
"WE'VE GOT MOVEMENT HERE!!"
I check my weapons & try to open the door
I try and open the locker in the guard room to see if there might be a shower inside. If for whatever reason there aren't any showers, I may as well take any useful items I find.

I chuckle as I begin to search guard station for CLUES.
Entering the corridor you follow Tanner, looking with interest at the door within the guard station...."Hmm, what could be in there? Maybe Charlie can help me get inside?" you think to yourself as you head back into the patient hallway.

"Hey Charlie old buddy, could you come with me a moment? I found this door in solitary and thought you might be able to help me get it open." You say to Charlie, looking around to make sure no one else might know of your plans to search that locked room before them.

"I would help you if I could, but i've never been down that hall before. As such, I don't have any keys that unlock anything in that area of the building." Charlie replies with a sad look on his face.

"Come with me and explore the unknown then? Come on....it will be fun." you reply with a big smile on your face, hoping it will be enough to convince Charlie to come with you.

"Ok then......i've always wanted to see what's in there anyways. But if anything nasty comes at me you better beat it senseless, ok?" Charlie says as he gets up and follows you as best he can.

Walking down the corridor you both enter the guard station at the end, looking around carefully as you enter. Pointing to the chair next to the desk, you motion for Charlie to sit down and relax as you search the room.

"Wow, a Delaroix 2700 CCV monitoring station. Nice. Must've set the board back quite a pretty penny." Charlie says as he tries working the controls.

"A monitoring system you say? What were they monitoring? Was it me? I bet it was me......damn crazy doctors always invading my privacy." you reply as you watch Charlie work. Within moments he has gotten the system online....images flooding the screens showing the various solitary cells, the solitary corridor, and the guard station itself. From what you can see, solitary cell 4 is empty and brightly lit, while cells 1 and 2 remain dark. Looking at the screen for cell 3 you notice a trail of blood leading from the middle of the floor to the bed, and then to just near the door. Sadly for you, though, the camera is just above where the blood trail ends so you can't see the source of the blood....there is also a bloody smudge on part of the camera lens, making it hard to see the room with total clarity. You DO, however, see a small blur skittering around under the bed though.

"Nah, don't worry about that Coleman.....this particular system was setup to monitor this area only. Gimme a minute here and i'll see if I can pull u.....oh crap." Charlie says as he checks some slots on one section of the CCV station.

"What is it?" You ask, looking at the station while trying to figure out if you should be worried or not.

"Whoever was here last took the tapes....there's no way to see what took place in any of the rooms prior to this moment, i'm afraid." Charlie says with a sigh, holding up his hands for a brief moment before sitting back in the chair resignedly.

"So where is the monitor for that room?" you ask, pointing at the locked door with the panel next to it.

"There doesn't seem to be one, oddly enough. Whatever is in there is a mystery for now, i'm afraid." Charlie replies before clutching the wound on his arm as a sharp stab of pain runs through it.

"Are you ok Charlie?" You ask, looking at him with a slightly worried look on your face.

"Yeah, i'm good....nothing some heavy duty pain meds couldn't handle....too bad the pharmacy is on the OTHER side of the gate leading into the doctor's hallway."

Looking around, you notice the locker near the guard station door. "Maybe there's something to help you in here, or something else we can use." you reply as you open the locker. Inside you find something you weren't quite expecting.....several full body restraints(complete with shackles, etc) line the inside of the locker.

"What the..." you ask with a shocked look on your face.

"Those must have been used to move the solitary patients around.....nasty stuff." Charlie replies as you close the locker & turn to look at the locked door nearby.

"There must be a way to get inside." You think to yourself as you try the handle.......sadly, though, the door appears quite locked. The panel next to the door is featureless, save for two small led lights near the top of it....one red & one green. As you touch the panel itself, you hear a shrill *beeeep* come from it while the red led lights up briefly. It would appear to be some sort of handprint/fingerprint scanner, which you sadly do not have clearance for.

You try to open the door but it is stuck. If you want in, you're going to have to work for it.

Do you try forcing the door open with your crowbar?

You decide to go into the guard room to search it for useful items when you spot Charlie & Coleman within....they seem to be examining the locked door against the nearby wall.

"Well nuts to that idea......those two will have probably picked this room clean already." you say with a sigh before heading back to the solitary corridor. "I wonder what's in that room, though. I mean, what needs that kind of security?"

OOC: According to the post above you just examined the room(gave it a quick looking over)...you didn't actually enter the room itself.(You are actually still in the solitary corridor just outside the guard station). I should've made that clearer though, and for that I apologize.

As such the others got to search the room before you, as Joe DID do his search of the room before you posted to search the locker. ;)

OOC: I did say go and look in the room, not look at it from the outside. I was mostly just surprised I wasn't already in the room (as was my intention).

EDIT: Hey wait, you're cheating!

You changed your post from "You go back into the guard room" to "You decide to go into the guard room". It's pretty clear considering I quoted you in the post below. Your post above has an edit (made only 30 minutes ago at the time of writing) and mine doesn't.

How can I go back in if I never "actually enter the room itself"?

OOC: Sorry about that.....as I said before I misread you and it spiraled out of control. I hope I haven't made you mad or anything.

(I could rewrite everything so far but that'd be a major pain..... would you like to just perform another action or what?)

OOC: I'm not mad, maybe a little hurt that you went back and edited your posts to make it look like I never entered the room. (see the edit in my previous post)

Nah, I can't think of any actions I particularly want to do at the moment.

OOC: I thought(as I said before) that you wanted to look in the room, and then leave. I didn't know how to put this into the story(If I should make it so that you entered the doorway/room, looked, and then left....or that you looked into the room from outside the doorway itself[while still standing within the solitary corridor]), so I wrote it as the former, and then changed it a few minutes ago to the latter(mainly to make it sound better and be clearer to those reading it.).

OOC: As I said before, I wasn't trying to make it look like you never entered the room. I just wrote that bit in the wrong way and decided to change it to be more clear and to what you actually did in-story. I wasn't trying to cheat you or anything...honest injun. :)

I misread your initial action post and never sent your character into the room. I just wrote that he looked in and saw what was inside(before possibly wandering off down the solitary corridor for who knows what reason.). Sorry about that.

Further OOC: Just to point this out......I actually edit many of the posts in here if I think I wrote something the wrong way grammatically/storywise/etc. I try not to change anything major or game breaking when I do it though.

OOC: That's funny because your posts did originally say I went into the room. The original form of one of your posts was caught in a quote in my post. I didn't quote the other, but I'm fairly certain I remember it saying I go into the room and look around. The fact that it was edited an hour ago makes it pretty obvious when you take it with the edit I captured in a quote.

So you misread my post, didn't send me into the room and yet accidentally wrote that I went in even though I didn't? :P

OOC: By misread I meant I thought you only wanted to look at the room and not enter it(as in enter it fully by walking into the room to a good degree.). I didn't know how to word this as I wrote, so I wrote it as if you just entered the room's doorway(which is sort of entering it I guess.) and looked around(possibly before going back into the hall itself.).

I later decided this didn't sound right story-wise so I changed earlier posts to make it read that your character just looked into the room from outside the doorway(instead of walking into the doorway/entering the room partially). As this conflicted with the "going back" line in a storyline reply that I made to your later post, I changed it and edited that bit out so it would fit the prior edit to the prior post.
