Mafia 1 is 9,99$ on Steam and it's a great deal but 9,99$ DRM-free on gog is even better. So is it coming anytiime soon ?

Maybe.
Mafia is a real classic..totally deserves to be here.
But bastards in 2K will not let it, I bet.
They barely sell their games to Europeans on Steam, with all that region restriction. I doubt we'll see Take Two here... if ever.
Ask 2K if they're willing to do business with this place.
2K games would seriously rock. Sadly, I don't think they are willing to do business with gog.com.
Speaking of 2K, who cares about Mafia? That deal would give us Civilization.
And *this* is a real classic.

And Stronghold 2.
Take Two love their DRM. Don't forget it was them who began the era of DRM overkill with Bioshock. I just don't know how comfortable they'd be giving that up. Even in their older games.

Yeah, they've switched to Steamworks for every release now too, I have a feeling they wouldn't want to release here.

Steamworks - if that's all they're using now - is a drastic improvement on what they've used in the past.

If you say so... online activation is online activation if you ask me.

To me there's quite a substantial amount of difference between limited activations and /or constantly needing to call home and a one time activation. Then there's also the other crap related to GFWL and 2K's implementations of SecuROM that make Steamworks look like an oasis of sanity by comparison.

BioShock's install limits were removed in like 5 seconds and they have never done that again. GFWL is DRM free for singleplayer, which is all I care about.

They were toned down in a few weeks but took something like six months to be completely removed.

Bioshock 2 is DRM-free? Haha! Oh wow. You must be wondering why GOG even bother advertising their DRM-free status when there's no form of DRM anywhere on the planet.

Since when was a SecuROM disc check, GFWL serial, GFWL regional restrictions, GFWL need to call home... oh and let's not forget the GFWL 15 activation limit -especially seeing as you'd have to phone the generally unreachable people at Microsoft to refund - DRM-free? Seriously? On what planet?
