I don't use a Mac, but Scrivener alone is probably worth the price of the bundle for anyone who does a lot of writing. It's a really nice piece of software.

Heh. I was wondering if anyone would have brought that up.
I hate to say this, but MH4 doesn't excite me as much as past MacHeist bundles did. They set the bar really high with the MacHeist 2 and 3 bundles, but in the space between MacHeist 3 and 4 so many things have changed that their traditional model of selling a software bundle seems outmoded. Many of the best apps they've offered have either been sold for deep discounts elsewhere, or have been involved in other promos.
I was hoping that they would market their bundle like the HIB, where the goal is for the purchaser to beat an average price versus people spamming referral links to get sales above a certain quota...but as it stands right now, Strategy First's massive Breast Cancer bundle seems like a far superior deal, even for Mac users as quite a few games like the Disciples and Jagged Alliance series games can run very well on a Mac through DOSBox or WINE.

The only really problematic DRM here, AFAIK, are the games which are tied to Steam (and really, was anyone clamouring for Jurassic Park: The Game, one of the most infamous games of the past several years, to be in a MacHeist bundke?). I think most of the apps are either (a) tied to the Mac App Store, which has the least unobtrusive DRM out of all of the "Steam-alikes" (e.g. unlimited downloads from the MAS, on unlimited Macs, with no client, and "phoning home" only on install), or (b) use a simple serial number. Well, there's Scrivener, which I think does online activation just once.
There are some indie devs who use insane DRM on their apps, like Koingo Software, but I don't know of any like that in MH4.
