I know you are all PC buffs over here, but If there is i moderator around. Some of us would like some OS X support, at least for games like fallout!

We've been through this a million times already. You can use emulation software to run games, or run DOSBOX natively with games that use it.

The OP here is not a whiner, the question may of been asked several times, but a whine comes across different.
I don't know about software forums, I do experience many people complaining at work on this: MAC software not running on a PC, MAC software not running on an old version (PPC era?) of OSX and the same for Windows users (actual quote: This software is only 15-20 years old, why should I buy the XP-Vista version when it worked on the '386 windows').

I'm sorry, but -
- comes across as whining to me, exclamation mark and all. Okay, maybe "whining" is the wrong word, more like "self-righteous indignation that this PC service doesn't support his Mac". Honestly, I think "whining" is close enough. It sounds like a guy who goes into a restaurant, sits down, and then loudly says "Some of us would like some service here!"

Nah, Perhaps a little bit of a Mac and fallout-fan but it was just one short post, and his reply to michaelleung was thankful/good-natured.
Or maybe the whining people I've come across (PC/Mac/Linux) are just so bad, this can't compete on a whining level :)

There's a huge difference between an ignorant user complaining and an informed user complaining: the ignorant user complains because s/he doesn't know any better, the informed user complains despite knowing better. This is why an informed user comes off as whining, while the ignorant user might just come off as foolish.
This is obviously a case of a sufficiently informed user who knows the difference between a Mac and PC, knows that this is a website for PC games, knows that those games are not compatible with their OS of choice and despite knowing all that, still chose to post something that ends up reading like whining.

I'll just leave it at that I don't see it as whining, else we are not going to get very far here and the question has been answered.

Hey OP, I am also a mac user and I have a couple of tricks. Most games will run in CrossOver Games. I try that one first because it has the smallest footprint on my system resources. I can even get current games to run at full speed.
And for games that don't run in CrossOver, I use VMWare Fusion. By this point you are actually running Windows so any game will work. Results vary depending on your hardware and may not be satisfactory but I have not had issues with GOG games ('cause they are old, duh.)
And don't forget to try out some mac games. Frenzic is one of my all time favorites.

Reminds me of a good "I'm a MAC" parody I saw on the interwebs. I tried to link it but alas, after 2 minutes gave up looking. It goes like this.
Mac: I'm a Mac !
PC: I'm A PC
Mac: What ' you doing PC ?
PC: Playing computer games
Mac: Oh really ? Neat ! Which ones ?
