Hi, I just found this site, and before I go off searching it's entire larger catalogue, does this site sell older Mac games? If so, is there any way to filter them from the others, and if not, is there another site like this that does sell Mac games?
Thank you.
Currently this site is Windows only. You'd need to run games through bootcamp or install Windows.
Steam has recently announced Mac support, but I've got no idea how well that's going. Oh and welcome to GOG.
Gamersgate has a sizable Mac catalogue.

Oh that's true. I hadn't really noticed. I'd definitely recommend Gamersgate over Steam. Not least of all for its customer support.
Thanks, guys!

Any game on GOG that uses DOXBox will run on your Mac if you just use the Mac version of DOSBox, IIRC.

But the installer won't run under MacOS, will it? So you need some sort of interpreter like WINE in order to get at the game files themselves.

Don't forget Direct2Drive sell Mac games as well.

Just checked the DOSBox site and they offer a Mac OS X version for download as a .dmg file. :P

I meant the GOG installer, not the DOSBox Mac installer :-p

I'm pretty sure he meant the GOG game installer, not the DOSBox installer.
EDIT - Ninja'd!

Yeah you're right about the interpreter...are there easy interpreters for Macs??

I know WINE exists for Mac, as well as other, similar programs. I don't know how easy they are to work with, as I'm not a Mac person myself.
EDIT: There's a thread somewhere about how to run GOG games on a Mac, but I can't find it right now.

Darwine (the Mac OS X port of Darwine) is pretty easy to work with - the only thing worth bearing in mind is that, last I checked, it dumps its Windows application and system files in an invisible folder in the user's home folder. CrossOver and CrossOver Games (a commercial variant of WINE) are a lot easier to work with in that it puts its Windows application and system files in an easily accessible folder in ~/Library/Application Support.
I've been mulling over posting a thread compiling everything I know about running GOG titles on OS X, including Windows and DOS emulation, but I don't know if anyone would really care. I'm sort of scared I'll be drawing the Mac haters out of the woodwork. Heh.

Well, like I said, I believe such a thread already exists.
As for the "Mac haters", I'm one of them, and yet here I am, trying to help ;-)
It's all a matter of how you approach the problem. The people "drawing the Mac haters out of the woodwork" as you so eloquently put it, are the ones who whine for GOG to support Mac natively. Oh, and anyone who willingly admits to buying an iPad ;-)
People like yourself, who just wants to know what is possible given that this is a Windows service, generally get as much help as people can give.
