Do any of these games work on Mac, or are they all pc-only?

Jules2k: As far as I remember there even is a native Mac Version of BG I, even though I remember having heared not all too kind things about it (bad performance etc.). Has anyone experience with that one, would it run under Snow Leopard?

rampancy: The original port of BG 1 was OS 9 only, and reportedly was extremely finicky with the latter OS 9.2.x releases and within the Classic Environment. I think you could play BG 1 with BG 2 under TuTu, but you had to put up with MacPlay's awfully buggy and underperforming OS X BG 2 port.

In any case, if you have an Intel Mac, BG works perfectly in CXG. BG 2, and IWD/IWD2 should also play well within CrossOver Games or even Wineskin, the only wrinkle being that you need a real Windows installation to apply the widescreen resolution/UI mods.
Hi, you can apply the widescreen mods, BGTUTU etc using CrossOver games. Just run the command: wineconsole cmd and install the mods with the command prompt. Worked a treat for me thanks.
How do i get Duke Nukem Manhattan Project to work on my mac osx w/o using bootcamp? Is there a free emulator like eduke32 that I can use?

Get yourself a copy of CrossOver. It's not free but that is seemingly what most Mac users rely on (myself included.) If money is really tight, you can fiddle with WineSkin or WineBoxer or whatever WINE based project you like, though they are all a pain in the ass to configure.

I haven't tested it/played it in a while, but it worked perfectly out of the box in CrossOver 11 in Snow Leopard. Wineskin works too, but as Darling_Jimmy points out it can be a daunting task to configure correctly.

Interesting. It's about time, yet I have a funny feeling we will simply be getting the cross platform indie games that are already available everywhere else. Oh well, fingers crossed it'll be a little more exciting than that. Only time will tell.

Anything will be nice. Even if the Witcher 2 is only wrapped in a Transgaming shell like Witcher 1 and not a native port. It's something to start with!

I'm cautiously optimistic - this could mean anything, from Windows 8, to Linux (definitely a good thing) to even Android. I'd agree that the first games that would be ported would be the indie releases that already have cross-platform ports, but even that would be an important first step for GOG.

seems you got both, yesterday.

So maybe this thread will gain a little speed, now that Mac is officially supported.
