channel 4 news in the UK has reported that the hacking group has been disbanded, is this true or is it political shite again?

It's been on a few different news sites. I think it's not so much a disbanding as a "run for the hills, we weren't quite as good as we thought, now they're onto us".

I give it a week before a new group with a new name set up but do the exact same things the same way. (IE the reform and start causing trouble again)

It's true. They saw fit to escape the spotlight before the CS gas canisters start flying through the windows.

Yeah, but they only said that on the 50 day mark. All previous communications indicated they were going to keep at it.

The CS gas will fly regardless, you don't stick 2 fingers up to the CIA and walk away from it. Even Osama found that out.

Actually this 50 day thing is new, it was only mentioned yesterday. I believe it's simply a case that they know it's a matter of time before they are caught and arrested so they have tried to hide. When it was just the evil corporations and governments they thought they were heroes but when proper hackers like The Jester and Team Poison started going after them they knew they were in trouble.

With those types going after them, you'd think they'd be shitting bricks these days.
