If we didn't have to provide proof we probably would have randomly guessed the right answer by now.

I've done a lot of recycling in the past, and I have definitely seen that configuration of parts before. I'm assuming the device is made of aluminum because if it is die cast instead, it is not worth disassembling.

My first guess would be that it is an old Gestetner copier device.

After that I would suspect that it is something like VCR or cassette player, maybe cd player.

In actual domestic appliances I'd guess spinner washer or sewing machine.

I cannot find a image of those part yet, but I have this feeling that the item in question is older and possible obsolete.

This giveaway was a little "selfish" as someone else was doing a contest over that same picture in which one could win a lottery ticket. So i thought maybe someone here knew in which i give them 2 games in return (regardless if i would win or not).
I would have never guessed it as it was quite hard and someone on twitter beat me to it, however i still won 1 ticket through facebook. Downside is i won nothing on the ticket in the end. :p
