Weclock: every time you @someone they get a notification.
so everytime we posted "RT @Lucasartsgames" he got a notification about it, meaning he was notified about my video MANY TIMES.
so it annoyed them. :D

Aliasalpha: A: Cool
B: Did you put in some form of subliminal message?
sort of, in the RT's we all put "Day of The Tentacle comes out on GOG!!" which I suppose is subliminal enough to not only act as an attention grabber, but to make him think "maybe we should post on GOG.."

Wishbone: Hmmm, this reminds me of someone we've been talking about a lot lately. Who was it now? Ah yes, Ezri.

phanboy4: Did you read the LucasArts blog link?

No, because there hasn't been a LucasArts blog link. All there's been is twitter links.

Ah, was looking for links when I re-scanned the thread, so I didn't notice. Now that is pretty cool :-)
I'm not a UGSS person because spamming is evil, but I like pissing people off. This is going to be fun.
+1 spam on their workshop page.
i must admit i was rather surprised to see the name "weclock" pop up on twitterfox... from lucasarts no less.
Use your influence for good! Get their games on GOG.
I am part of this too! Support the UGSS or die!
So what's our newest spam going to be later?

You're encouraged to participate in UGSS's plans - simply post a comment on the aforementioned LucasArts blog about page complimenting GOG and why you think we deserve the LucasArts classics!
After adding your comment you will be permitted to join the GOG IRC channel and use the [UGSS] tag - for example I am [UGSS]TheJoe, phanboy is of course [UGSS]phanboy4...
And I am [UGSS]lowyhong
As much as I think it's an extremely fun and cool movement, I'm afraid the heads of LucasArts, being the non-fun moro... I mean people they can be, will NOT take it well and instead of bringing their classics here, they'll say "So much for a classy community" and never look here, even if they planned to.
Still, I wish you people success!

Hey, we're way classier than the average Steam Forums moron, that's for sure, and they didn't stop LucasArts. LucasArts needs to listen to us, I mean, we ARE the target demographic for these back catalog releases, aren't we?

I doubt Lucasarts could care less who they sell their games to, to be honest.
I honestly don't think we'll be seing any Lucasarts games here anytime soon. I really think that Lucasarts wants restrictive DRM in their games and that the GOG model is too scary for them. I mean why did they use a different way to make their older games playable on modern hardware instead of using already established emulators like Dosbox or SCUMMVM? This way those games are locked to Steam.
Anyway, even if they don't react by giving us their games, have fun, everyone ;-).
