Oh god I've just read the latest GOG front screen " What game made you ride with the Outlaws".

Didn't notice that earlier.

Lucasarts it is then !

enterprise2004: Steam only has a small amount of Lucasarts games on their site, and not all of them work that well. Dark Forces works alright, I had to find a fan mod for Dark Forces 2 in order to get it to work right, KOTOR runs weird sometimes, and Fate of Atlantis won't play in full screen. Plus, Steam only has a small portion of the Star Wars games.

Delixe: Plus if I remember right the Jedi Knight games on Steam don't have a soundtrack as it was a simple DosBox bash job. I like to think GOG will put more effort in than Steam usually do.
I agree with your comments here, I just thought it would be odd for two download companies to be offering the same titles....and as you are no doubt familiar with STEAM, Gog will undersell them massively, as STEAM is such a rip off generally.
( I only buy from STEAM during the sales.)

Yep, you're right. I don't even think there's sound in STEAM Dark Forces.
I have to say, if the current front page is *really* referring to Outlaws, then GoG are *really* bad at making cryptic clues. You don't state the very words of the answer in the clue!

(But that's still quite possible. I'll just throw out a tiny hope for Night Shift and leave it at that)

If this speculation is correct then I'm going to have to order up a new joystick for some proper TIE Fighter action. And as undignified as it is there may also be some squealing for joy on my part.

Delixe: Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, Zak McKraken and the Alien Mindbenders, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Emperors Tomb, Fate of Atlantis, The Dig, Full Throttle, Battle of Brittain, Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe, Afterlife, Star Wars: Dark Forces, Jedi Knight, Knights of the Old Republic, Republic Commando, Empire at War, Outlaws, Sam & Max, Monkey Island, Loom, X-Wing, TIE Fighter, Shadows of the Empire, Armed & Dangerous and plenty more I can mention. Getting Lucasarts will keep GOG busy for many months to come.
^This
I really, really cant wait to replay DOTT, Grim Fandango, Full Throttle, X-WING, TIE Fighter and, you missed out one, X-Wing Alliance!
TIE Fighter alone will keep me busy for months to come. X-WING and X-WING Alliance Death Star Run WOOT!
I'm gonna buy so many games if it's Lucas Arts. Jedi Outcast, Jedi Knight, Dark Forces, Grim Fandango, Day of The Tentacle (Is Sam and Max Lucas Arts?) X-Wing, Tie Fighter, etc.
You know in some ways I hope it's not LucasArts ... because I've already got a backlog of GOG games and this would just add a huge amount to it! It would also hurt my wallet. :)

In truth, that would be pretty amazing for GOG (and for me), if GOG has indeed gotten LucasArts, but let's not get ahead of ourselves. It's not Thursday yet. :)
Jedi Knight WITH ORIGINAL CD SOUNDTRACK IN THE GAME please. Thanks.

(Awesome news either way).
Day Of The Tentacle !!! (What game made you fear your past ?)

You can actually get Jedi Knight 2+3 at Wal-Mart still for $8.77. At least here in Canada.
And Sam&Max is, the old one anyway. The new ones are Telltale... hmm. I wonder if they somehow bought the license to Sam&Max On the Road or whatever it's called. I have it on CD.

Allright then expert mystery solvers, what LucasArts game is the new one talking about? Front page now says "What game made you fear your past." Doesn't ' sound like LucasArts to me.

If GOG has an advantage with Jedi Knight should they release it would be that no cd would be required in the drive for multiplayer.
New image.

It's totally LucasArts.
