LucasArts has just posted an update on Twitter, teasing a new backlog announcement this Monday. It doesn't involve X-Wing or Tie Fighter yet, but as we all know, there's a lot of other greatness waiting to be released!

So, how goes those negotiations, GOG? Is it you this time, or at least, you also? ;)
Start speculating, folks!

It would be quite a boost for GoG. :)
But they should have released the first part of their back-catalog here in the first place, not on Steam.
Hmm, someone has guessed right on their twitter, time to find which one!
bleh
That's easy. There's only one other well known Lucasarts IP that urgently needs a remake too.
Day of the Tentacle
My guess would also be Maniac Mansion and Day of the Tentacle. I cant see them releasing on GOG though which is a shame. They have obviously come to some agreement with Valve for Steam distribution. I only hope its just for a short while and GOG will be allowed to distribute at a later date.
"RT @Char_Ell: Interesting how people are guessing backcatalog games for @lucasartsgames announcement that are already available on Steam"
GOG GOG GOG!!
GOG have been suspiciously quiet on twitter...

Cat got their tongue? Wabbit Season? Duck Season? :p
Sorry, couldn't resist that one...
But here's an interesting hint from @lucasartsgames:
"Last hint: of all the responses, only one right guess. Poor guy doesn't even know he got it right. :)"
Trolling the replies, it is NOT DoTT, MM, MI2:SE, TIE Fighter, X-Wing, X-Wing Vs. TIE Fighter, the Jedi Knight series, Dark Forces, Zak McCracken, Outlaws, Grim Fandango (sad face), Full Throttle, or many other bad guesses.
The one response guesses are:
GOG.com + LucasArts (and GOG has been eerily silent on the matter)
Mortimer and the Riddles of the Medallion (must be a LucasArts in-joke or something...)
Masters of Teras Kasi (impossible, unless PSN is involved in said announcement)
Yoda Stories (difficult, but not impossible)
SW: Rebellion (maybe)
Rescue on Fractalus (not too likely)
Rogue Squadron on iPhone (ehh, okay, but I was about to pull the trigger on SoMI:SE on iPhone)
Star Wars Arcade on iPhone (not terribly likely, unless LA bought the rights to the game)
Lego Howard the Duck (oh dear God... make it go away...)
Secret Origins Of The Luftwaffe or Ballblazer (not sure on this one's validity)
Willow

Damn it! I WANT Full Throttle in a compatible-with-windows7 release!
One or both of the KotOR games (fingers crossed).
KOTORs please! YAY!
Given that Lucasarts seem keen to turn their good old games into good updated games, I'm not incredibly optimistic that very many of their titles will wind up here just yet. Some might still find their way here though.
Lots of interesting old games I'd want to by from LucasArts catalog. But will not buy anything until they land into GOG. So I'm hoping for best. :)
