Elmofongo: Guys have you forgotten what LucasArts did to Free Radical?
Of course not. I think they can still atone for their sins, though.

When has a publisher atoned for their sins?

Just because it hasn't happened doesn't mean it won't.
Here's some offical concept art from the new star wars games.

Looks heaps better than anything they've done in recent years

Yeah that's pretty cool. I wish Lucasarts would go back to the original trilogy more often and explore the different characters and roles. Imagine how much they could do with a "Guerilla warfare" type game where you play as a new recruit to the rebels, do hit and run attacks on overpowered empire forces and rise up the ranks. It could be more realistic, like an ARMA or Rainbow Six type game.

Actually, the Lucasarts of today would just screw that up. I'll just have to go back to playing Tie Fighter
Wow, how completely irrelevant.

You guys going to send e-mails or stop posting about dumb Star Wars art or what?

Lol, relax. What we're doing is about as effective as sending Lucasarts emails about their 20 year old games.

They don't care and a few emails won't change their mind.

Just give GOG some more time to negotiate and lobby. They will be far more effective.

If you'd read the topic, you'd see that this isn't about e-mailing LucasArts themselves. It's about e-mailing journalists attending E3 who could be interviewing LucasArts.

Yeah, and I'll bet you that when GOG gets the whole Lucas Arts catalog on board, there will be complaining and complaining up to high heaven about how it's:

a) Too Expensive ("$9.99!? $5.99!? They should be FREE!")
b) Too Buggy ("This doesn't work on my 90 Mhz Pentium running WinME or my 8-Core Opteron running Win8!")
c) Not coming with Steam keys ("They didn't say anything about DRM-free!? Give me my DRM or I'll launch a class-action lawsuit against you and bury you!")
d Not System Shock/System Shock 2. :)
I like a lot of Star Wars games. I hope they make a new good one.
Anyone bugged guys at RPS about it?

I imagine some truth to these (although, afaik, c is a more recent one since Alan Wake came aboard); it can be hard to find a balance between us being spoiled as fsck and GOG recognizing that they are a business and need to keep the customers happy (if they want continued business).

Have there been any recent good ones? I used to love almost all their Star Wars games, but I haven't really paid any attention since Knights of the Old Republic 2 (which I liked a lot)
