Is there a posibility that they would release they're games on gog...soon??
It's really getting wierd without they're old games...
My friend you clearly do NOT know how much the GOG community wants LucasArts games here.

Lucas Arts don't like the idea of drm free. So all GOG can do is try to persuade them to do so. I guess it's like "trying to get blood out of a stone".

My first day here I posted a thread about it. I wont make that mistake again! :P
We must be patient and not weep for the future.

-But Master Yoda teaches us to be mindfull of the future.

-Yes, but never at the expense of the present.

With LucasFilm now owned by Disney I wonder what impact that will have on the chances of GOG getting them.

Even if GOG gets them, with Disney in charge they are going to be asking something like $50 a pop for Yoda Stories!

Well Disney has localized and dubbed Studio Ghibli movies here for a short while, I don't think they'd be that crazy with the pricing of something.

With Ghibli they've even put those movies on blu ray.
I found a copy of XWing at Goodwill yesterday. I nearly did a backflip. Then I saw the disk. Someone poured what looked like a thin coat of fingernail polish all over it.

Please people. Only donate things that actually work.

Yeah, I was kind of being a little snippy for various reason regarding Disney that have nothing to do with this. I actually love their cartoons and movies but there is a lot of other stuff pertaining to their history that irks me and causes me to lash out immaturly every once in a while.

Didn't they release Yoda stories for free?

I don't know. Indy's Desktop Adventures is free.

I don't think they care, unless they are starting they're own digital distribution buisness that is.
But on the other hand maybe they don't care eather way, since it's disney...
It's the absence of Grim Fandango that irks me. It's had all the work put in by the fans to get it compatible, and would be such a hit to re-release. I just can't understand the reluctance to cash in on something that's just there waiting for them. My only guess is that they're using it as a bargaining chip - hopefully with GOG.
Lucas Arts? MOAR LIEK MUCUS FARTS.
