Hi all,
Any chance of a Leisure Suit Larry game coming to GOG? The first would be great but any or all would be cool.

Ermmm.....I don't....think that will ever happen.....seeing as they sell games to minors like me and we can easily change our age to buy em.
For almost any game, the only answer is a "maybe". GOG doesn't talk about what games might be coming (except in the vaguest of terms). The best way to help get a game on GOG is to vote for it on The Wishlist and hope for the best.

That's not necessarily out of the question; the site interface has an "18" image, which is surely intended for labelling age-restricted titles that might come along at some point.

True, but I can always change my age and buy the game. My parents would kill me, but hell, my money.
Sides, that game looks boring to me.

You have already outgrown your name by one - give it time you will catch the rest of us - until then there is always gifting ;-)

There are other reasons for me choosing 15. =p

Why would they kill you? :|

Video game isn't art to them, and one with interactive tits is far from the subject. =D
Jokes on them if they do, since I do ALL the tech work in the house(s).

Yes, but that's not GOG's problem. Considering that you would need to actively lie in order to purchase the product, thus circumventing the age restrictions that GOG put in place, you'd be the one at fault.
There are plenty of mature-rated (or games that would obviously have been mature-rated if they were newer) games on GOG already, like Blood 1 and 2, Bloodrayne 1 and 2, Kingpin, Painkiller,...

I will never understand American sexual "policy". It appears to go something like this: "Young people shouldn't know anything about sex. That way, they can't make any bad decisions concerning it". Which is complete and utter drivel.
As for Larry (the first couple of ones at least, I haven't played any of the later installments), it's hardly pornography. It's a humorous adventure game with mildly erotic content and huge pixels. Just look at it. I think I played the first one when I was about 13, and while it was fun (and an excellent way to practice my English), I was hardly turned on by it. Any catalog from a clothing store has way more revealing pictures of women than that game. And in a much better resolution ;-)

Sex is taboo for us, which is odd since we glorify it...

You don't think it's glorified on a social level because it's a taboo on a political level?

Yes/No, since it's also glorified on TV.

Unless we're talking about it being glorified in the news or a presidential address, that would count as a social level.
