Well i doubt a download from gog has been the cause, but i also have no clue what else could have caused this.

how old is this head set? maybe it just broke?
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
You might need to upgrade your sound driver, or download and install a new sound driver from your pc manufacturer's website.
windows says drivers up to date.

Well, have you?

I've had very poor experiences with USB headsets. Have you tried any actual audio jacks?
Ya rebooted several times, checked all mute functions in pc,tried other usb jacks, checked volume controls on head set and pc.read in forums that windows 7 had and issue like this but im running vista 32

You didn't answer my question. Have you tried connecting a pair of headphones or speakers to an actual audio jack? You know, not a USB port, but a 3,5mm jack. This will tell you whether the sound card is actually producing sound. If it is, then the problem is between your PC and your headset, not in your sound card.
Hey, guys, uninstalled driver, sound came back, not sure why ,maybe a confiict some where, but problem solved, thanks for the help!

No problem. Glad you got it working again :-)

I always do find it a bit annoying when a problem suddenly goes away without me knowing why. It leaves me wondering when it'll decide to rear its ugly head again.
