Upcoming for PC? You mean coming to GOG?
If you mean the one from 2002 it is owned by Vivendi Universal I think which is related to Activision, which is one of Publishers already signed up on GOG.com.
The gog devs are quite tight-lipped about future releases so you'd need to just wait and see.

Otherwise the game has been available for PC since 2002... if that was your question.

but to be honest - i'm not sure who has license for lotr right now. vivendi?

still it is gOG and they both are Old Games. most of games released lately is about 2000+ .

i'd like to see some gems 10 yers older or so..

Warner Bros. They have that new War in the North game out this week.
I wouldn't mind seeing this one either:

never heard of it. but looks nice. i'd like to try this one :)
I would like to see it here because it would warrant another purchase of the game. I once bought it really cheap and enjoyed it for what it was. It's not great but a fun little time killer. Unfortunately there where some bad disks that only had like half of the game on it. My game stopped just before moria. I checked the disk and in the maps folder the levels where indeed missing. Very strange but a the time i did find one other person with the same problem...

Congrats, dae6, you're now one of my new favorite people. :D
Seriously, though, I remember playing this game on 5 1/4 floppies. A mix of rpg, strategy, adventure. Good stuff.
It's a great shame that the two Interplay LOTR games shared the fate of the '78 animated movie (they didn't get past Two Towers), as they're very good RPG's and certainly among the best Tolkien games out there, along with War In Middle-Earth.
Interplay was genuine in obtaining the most exclusive that was and then botching what they could about it (Dungeon Master 3, Lustmord's music for Fallout...)

I would be really grateful if GOG put these 3 up, as they are not easy to obtain, especially the CD version that had cut-scenes from Bakshi's film.

Does anybody know if there is a digital retailer that sells Battle for Middle Earth II (or one). My google skillz so far have left me without a result.

EA should really expand their Origin catalogue with older, hard to get, titles.
