Sorry your dog doen't feel well. A Friend of mine had the same problem. they didn't know what he had. But it looked like he was about to die. They took him to the vet after spending a bit more time with him and let the vet put him to sleep, so he doesn't have to suffer.
My heart goes out to you. Hopefully you get good news from the vet and she gets better.
How sad, sorry to hear about your dog. My dog died a few years ago from cancer so I know how distressing it is.

I'll hope for the best for your friend.
Let us know if something changes! Hope she gets well, though it will probably cost you if it is serious....Shelled quite a bit of money when my dog got seek, but the vet did manage to cure him. So, totally worth it for me...Hate losing pets. They do leave a hole in your soul when they die....
As some of you might have guessed from the late reply it is not good news. Through the day today Saffy took a nosedive health wise. While her blood tests showed nothing overly concerning you could see that she has given up.

She was put to sleep earlier this evening and went very peacefully. She will be deeply missed but overall I think it was the kindest thing to do.

Again I thank you all for your kind words, You all have my gratitude.
I am sorry, mate...Truly sorry:(

Sorry man, I really understand what you're going through.
I'm very sorry to hear that...but I'm sure she went peacefully and happy after spending her life with people who loved her.
You have my deepest sympathy reaver. I can relate to losing a close pet that has been with you a long time and wish you the best.

Crap news mate.

My last dog had to be put to sleep (as did the lad prior to him), thankfully, he seemed ready to go. It's difficult to contemplate the overly used (and often misused) term "dog years", but I know when my last one went, after several age related health problems, it was the best choice - and by the fact he went so calmly, it was one he was prepared for / perhaps wanted or would have maybe even asked for were he able to vocalise in a human manner.
Dunno mate, I'm probably not helping, but I do know what it's like.

~small tears fall like a gentle rain on the fur of our beloved creatures~

I dread the moment when my last old guy needs to go. All those happy dances at my arrival home, all those grumbles when I rub his belly, all those pleading looks when I'm eating steak - well anything resembling something edible, actually, all those small kisses...

Sorry, Reaver :-(

At least she had a peaceful demise, but still... so sad. I had hoped that see would recover :(
