I don't know if someone can help me but I have been wondering about a game I read about some weeks ago. At first I thought it wasn't interesting but I can't get it out of my head :-). Unfortunately I can't remember the name or publisher and google wasn't much help either.

The game is a (action) RPG where you explore dungeons and kill monsters. But there is one twist: while you are away life in the city goes on and there are random attacks. So it is possible that you get a call for help and you have to decide if you want to return to town or keep exploring. If you don't go back it could happen that some of the people there were killed.

I hope this is enough information. Thanks in advance for any suggestions :-).

Good call; it has to be Din's Curse. That "life goes on" aspect really stuck out at me when it arrived here.
Probably Din's Curse...

There's a rouge-like with a large city-aspect called Bionic Dues, but you don't have to leave to go help the city immediately, doing so would be bad...
