xyem: Everyone then has to both work together to get the correct parts of the code and against each other to be the first to figure out the correct ones.. and their correct order to win it.
So it's not a case where everybody wins. Rather. it's two teams against each other, and the survivors of the winning team get game keys? I assume this 'cause otherwise there'd be no incentive to lie. Plus, if people are publicly discussing a code, what's to stop lurkers from getting it, or playing with the pieces to possibly get it before the forum members do?
I second the recommendation for Rayman Origins, or maybe The Cat Lady.

I think the rules would be like the nasty GA with one prize only - not sure how Xyem is thinking though.

The last nasty GA, I wasn't in but apparently my enthusiasm to watch the game and my posting in the thread convinced quite a number of participants to think I was in - it was rather hilarious. I even threw some fake sections to peeps that refused to believe me after several PM's trying to convince them that I really wasn't playing. Of course I let Wpegg in on all the action!
Sure, why not?

As for the game, The Cat Lady, King of Dragon Pass, A New Beginning or perhaps Inherit the Earth would be snazzy.

It does seem that Wpegg had the idea first and put much more thought into it than I have. To be honest, my first thought was to find 4 people and give them the codes and then let people try to find them, but I figured that would be really disruptive to the general populace :)

I'm also considering having some flexible gameplay by using dogma. So basically, as long as all (or most?) players agree, they can change the mechanics/rules of the game. For example, in Wpegg's one, he acted as a verifier but that mechanic would have to be "dogma'd" into this game. If it is persistent across games, future players may remove it. Hopefully, this would both shake things up a bit and prevent the game from stalling.

triocks comment makes a lot more sense now. The more you know..

Are you volunteering to play?
You're quite one-dimensional, aren't you xyem? :P

The only thing you know how to do well is giveaway games! :D

xyem: Are you volunteering to play?
Not clear on the rules, but yes. : )

Arcanum
Arx Fatalis
Cat Lady
Gabriel Knight
Sanitarium
15 people have posted to play so far with 6 going for Night of the Rabbit. I think this is enough for the first game..

That would make the current players for Night of the Rabbit:
Austrobogulator
GabiMoro
misfire200
Momo1991
nightrunner227
Trid

EDIT: I've gone ahead and started Origin #0 with those who want to play for NotR

If any of the people who have volunteered so far also want to play for NotR, just let me know and I shall add you. I'll be starting the game tomorrow and I have decided that the dogma mechanic is going to be the main part of the game.

Also, I edited the first post with a few more details of how it will work.
