As stated in the title, I'm looking for a platformer that has a gothic theme (Demon enemies, that sort of thing) with lotsa blood.

It's not gothic but it's very Steampunk which I dig for many of the same reasons, 99 Levels To Hell.

Haven't played it, but Maldita Castilla looks like fun, it's kind of like Ghouls'n Ghosts if that's your thing.

Thanks For the responses. I'm downloading maldita Castilla, cause its free, but I'll think about getting the other ones.

How about Elvira? If you can find a working copy, it might be exactly what you are looking for. Doesn't get much more gothic than that and it's a platformer too.

Or of course any good old 2D Castlevania game (using some emulator if you want to play it on the PC).

I just played maldita castle and I can recommend it to anybody who hungers for a bit of platforming action. I've never played Ghouls and Ghosts but it was pretty cool to me.

It hasn't been released yet, but I'm somewhat hopeful regarding Volgarr the Viking .

Not exactly gothic, but looks like it could be some good platforming fun.

It might be worth keeping an eye on for the future.
