Nothing can beat the FISHMASTER.
For a band with a professional singer (so i've read), it's kinda funny to see how many mishearings they produce.

It's the power of suggestion. Since you are presented with the so-called "misheard lyrics", you know what you are supposed to hear, and thus you will often hear what is suggested to you.

I'm guessing many of you will already have heard the "satanic messages" that are revealed in Stairway to Heaven by playing it backwards, but for those who haven't this should serve as an illustration:
Go here, and listen to the backwards clip, without revealing the backwards lyrics. Most likely, what you hear will sound like gibberish. However, reveal the lyrics, then hear it again. Now you will clearly hear the "hidden message".
If the show reverse lyrics button doesn't work (it didn't for me, at least), you can hear it here.

Except that this works with NOISE. If we were presented with properly sung words, the "misheard lyrics" would seem contrived as hell.
Which they don't.

Oh, no no, You've misunderstood me. I meant how many "misheard" songs from Nightwish there are, and how accurate they sound.
It's even funnier, since i've always though Nightwish was singing some alien language, pseudo Latin etc.
