soulgrindr: Is this a list of games to boycott?

The arrival of Ubisott's latest games on GOG in the future is about the only way to ensure they actually work.
Darn it! I justpend the last hour adding the education games from The Learning COmpany to the list, whereupon it dawns on me that Ubisoft only bought the rights to the non-education games by Brøderbund Software. If even those...
I wonder if they control the rights to the Carmen Sandiego games?
No Super Solvers though... Or Zoombinis... Sorry!
There's not much for cRPG or TBS fans in the catalog now is there?

Well, there's always Heroes Chronicles...
Also, Shadow Watch looks interesting...

Ubisoft also own SSI's back catalogue, don't they?
I'm not sure Riven should be in there, didn't the rights for that one go back to Cyan?
Also, I though Cyan got the rights back for all the Myst games and related material.

I'll go ahead and remove Riven... Still need some confirmatio nabout the rest of the Myst games though...
Also, I'll add the SSI games tomorrow...

Well SSI's catalog certainly is interesting. One of my favourite devs in olden days. Problem is SSI was shuffled around few times so all source codes and game file backups and game related material are probably lost. It's also difficult to say if all rights were transfered with each subsequent sale or if any were sold elsewhere separetely. We can always hope obviously. Most of SSI's productions were classics of their time. We'll just have to wait and see.

Sadly there will be no D&D based games... Those are Atari only now... :'(

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas (RSV)
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 (RSV2)

I know :P Note that there are other games beside the gold box series that use D&D licence in the catalog like stronghold, dark sun, dungeon hack, Al-Qadim: The Genie's Curse, Spelljammer: Pirates of Realmspace and eye of beholder. There may be others as well.
Anyway, keep up the good work! :)

SSI also made some great wargames and they shouldn't be that hard to get on GOG. I hope.
Updated with SSI games.
Oh, and Ghost Recon 2 is consoles only. No Windows version.
Didn't want to add the Tom Clancy games post-2005 games. Didn't feel right, this being Good Old Games...

Delixe: Ubisoft releases seem to have petered out, I cant even remember the last release from them. Hope they haven't got bored.

They just released Driver: Parallel Lines just a couple weeks ago.
And the Might & Magic games were added fairly recently as well.
