Want a list of every video game ever that's slowly expanding day-to-day? Well, this list should come close enough I guess :)

XD My thoughts exactly.
10,000 Games (2010, Avanquest Software Publishing Ltd.) (Windows)
10,000 Games (2005, Selectsoft Publishing, Viva Media, LLC) (Windows)
1000 Best Games for Windows (1999, Cosmi Europe, Ltd.) (Windows 3.x)
1000 Best Solitaire Games (2003, Cosmi Europe, Ltd.) (Windows)
1000 Games (2004, Avanquest Software Publishing Ltd.) (Windows)
1000 Games: Volume 3 (2008, Avanquest Software Publishing Ltd.) (Windows)

...are these counted as one game each , or 10000 and 1000 games each?
Woohoo.............just over 43000 left to go then my list is complete :)
My thoughts go out to all the collectors who see this list and weep.

This seems to be in the form of individual releases. It lists about ten different Gothic releases, for example.
So, only games with English language I presume?

edit: Seems not, but still missing a lot non-English games.

It lists a lot of non-english titles, so I presume no.

i am a collector and i frown at that list, there are many collections, a bunch of systems are already documented in a way (f,e Gamebase, MAME).
i am curious if they all do it manually but with their "double" entries it's not really clean nor does this list seem very usefull but if anyone thinks this is much, this is only a fraction nor offcourse possible to ever get every game ever.
let alone every foreign language only game, even for pc that is not possible.

And Barry Woodward is going to ask us to vote for all of them on the wishlist.

Whoa and I thought me and damien wasted far too much time making lists of computer games!
One possible use would be this list plus Random.org if its your go in the 'What is this game' thread and you're stuck for inspiration, I guess!
BTW the last game I posted in that thread the 80's C64 game (not the '00s windows game) 'Ankh doesn't seem to be there:

I DO hope Lemon 64 and Lemon Amiga will be back up soon BTW...

Useful for anti social vampires.
I looked for two obscure video games on that list and found neither.

One was an Apple II sci-fi RPG called J, and another was a locally-networked Amiga six-player game called Muon. I can't find reference to either of them on the internet, even though I know the name of one of the devs, and it is a pretty unique name: Alan Dziejma.
