What happened to the linux games? Like Don't Starve and many others do not have the Linux download anymore. Why did they get rid of it?
They didn't, GOG never offered Linux installers, only Mac ones. You may be mistaking GOG with Humble store.
GOG never had Linux installers. They have Mac installers for some games, but no Linux ones.
Linux is coming soon though.

Obviously Naxthor is from the future, when GOG has implemented Linux support, and is confused coming back to this archaic moment in time where such support doesn't exist.

Hey Naxthor, can you tell me which games get Linux support first? I hope they focus on my favourites :)
You know... for a moment there... Yeah... I got confused. No Linux yet :( But I do wonder now if GOG Galaxy will be on Linux also. Hmm... maybe a simultaneous release? :P

"We're initially going to be launching our Linux support on GOG.com with the full GOG.com treatment for Ubuntu and Mint. That means that right now, we're hammering away at testing games on a variety of configurations, training up our teams on Linux-speak, and generally getting geared up for a big kick-off in the fall with at least 100 Linux games ready for you to play. This is, of course, going to include games that we sell which already have Linux clients, but we'll also be bringing Linux gamers a variety of classics that are, for the first time, officially supported and maintained by a storefront like ours." taken from here

In the meantime, why not take a look at games that work natively on Linux already on GOG :)

Yes, they have officially stated that GOG Galaxy will be supported on all platforms including Linux.
