CrossOver should let Linux users run GOG games, I'd assume. These free licenses may be of great use to the GOG community! I've seen a lot of people asking for Linux support...
Nice :)
Oh, I also just wanted to create a thread about this. While I have neither Linux nor Mac and don't understand a lot about this, it seems like a very alluring offer to anyone who does :)
I think if possible you should add in the title and your post that anyone can also get a serial number for the Mac version of Crossfire!

Good call, but I don't think I can change the title of the post... don't see an option for that anywhere :(
Nice! Talked about few friends about it. I might use it too :D
By the way, as far as I know there is not even the need for a serial number at the moment. On the page it says that the downloadable files are "fully unlocked builds", so I suppose you can just install them as they are :)

It's a lightly modified games-specific WINE variant that has a healthy symbiotic relationship with the original WINE team. The Crossover guys are funded by sales of Crossover Games/Office, and they in turn work on WINE features they need, pushing changes back upstream.
I've tried the trial, and while it does offer a GUI for game installation, I really can't tell any difference from vanilla WINE. Still, I'd like to buy a license someday, just to show support for the good work they do for WINE.
offer is now over :( i just missed out...

Wikipedia says that they had over 750,000 registrations. Yow. I think they got more than they bargained for.
