Theta_Sigma: Congrats man, that is awesome to hear you beat it!
I am quiet the LoZ nut, I remember holding up the box for the first game at a store here when I was rather young and going "I WANT THIS PLEASE" with a stupid grin on my face, and I was hooked ever since. I recently just picked up the Super Famicom cart of A Link to the Past from hit-japan (the English carts are a bit pricy and I got this for 6 bucks) and I'm stoked to get it. I'm not sure what happened to my English copy sadly. I remember Link's Awakening, it was one of my favourite hand-held games other than Kid Dracula, ALttP for GBA, and Yggdra Union. Up until the release of Mother 3 those were all ones I'd go back to playing a lot. Congrats again on this accomplishment and I recommend giving OoA/OoS a go next. :)

Punished_Snake: Now I'm doing Skyward Sowrd, but...it's a lttle boring?
I don't know, I just started the game but there are too many cutscenes for now.
That is a hit and miss entry. I liked it, but that being said I understand why some don't. The clip scenes ease off if I remember correctly once you get more into the game. I wasn't overly fond of Navi 2.0, but I found the controls and game play much better once you got into it and used to them. As for boring, I'm not sure if it will get more interesting for you, but hopefully.

For now is too simple and linear. And yes, the spirit of the sword is awful. She pop-ups every two second telling something stupid :l

Are there optional side-quest in ths game (not the piece of heart one, something like the trading quest in Awakening)?

Yeah, that is one thing the game does suffer from a bit. Yeah, I like the IDEA of her character and it could have been done so much better and more helpful.

There are side quests, but I can't remember what they are since it's been a while, and I should probably pick the game up again and give it another play through. I might do that after I finish A Link Between Worlds.

Welcome to the post-Ocarina games. Even Ocarina has a huge list of problems, but I'm willing to cut the game some slack for being the first 3D Zelda. The remaining games range from descent (mostly the Capcom ones) to abysmal (Wind Waker, the DS games).

It's like playing a mix of all sorts of games where none of them are really good. The puzzles a brainless chores, the combat is just a nuisance that wastes your time, the world is not worth exploring (if there even is a world to explore), the story is stupid... yeah, there is a reason i stopped playing the series.
I had a faulty cartridge on my copy, so saves didn't last longer than 5 minutes. So no way to break or anything, so I could never complete it. :<

On the other hand, my Pokemon cartridge's clock was bugged and that let me change the time to whatever I wanted each restart. It made it easier to get the pokemon/events I wanted. :D

Tonight I completed the first dungeon...I suck using that wiimote, even a spider is a problem for me :l

By the way, I really really love Wind Waker, for me it's a good Zelda title.

Yeah, for you and five more people :P Let me guess, you were a child or in your early teens when you first played it?

I was 17 when I played this, and it was my second Zelda title :)
