Can anybody tell me where to find info. on burning my games to disc? I don't have time to slog through hundreds of pages of threads! Thanks.

You mean specifically games from GOG or?

All you need is a decent burning application and the CD/DVD. I recommend ImgBurn because it's simple, free and no clutter of unnecessary features.

Download the installation, choose "Write files/folders to disc" or if you want to create in image that works as well.
This software should be more than enough:

http://cdburnerxp.se/ (don't mind the name, it's Win 7 compatible)

If you want to burn GOG's all you need to do is to drag & drop files.

If you want to burn a game from a CD, it's best to crate an ISO file (you can do that in that app), and then burn it to blank DVD.

I don't know if that's helpful.
As keeveek mentioned, CDBurnerXP is good. I use ImgBurn myself.

Right Click -> Send to -> CD / DVD Drive

Rocket science right there!

Ok, thanks, just haven't done it before and I didn't want to start screwing around not knowing what I was doing.

Oh, by the way, if you want to burn multiple games / files on a disc, it's good to "uncheck" the "Finalize disc" option on burn options screen.

It will give you ability to burn something else next time, on the same disc.

Why? Most third party applications use the OS' build-in burning interface anyways. :)
Thankfully, CdBurnerXp uses third-party burning component, as well as all burning software I used before...

Kind of funny you say that since the application's website suggests that it uses SPTI. Which EAC and ImgBurn also use by default. ;)
CdBurnerXP uses StarData third party component:

http://cdburnerxp.se/help/kb/6
"The SPTD mode ought to provide a more reliable device access than the default SPTI mode, since it prevents conflicts between multiple applications. So it is generally safe to use, but not very much tested from our side, so we cannot guarantee that there are no issues with this mode."
