I believe they marketed the name turok at one point ... offering money to the people who named there child after the game.

Maybe a revival of the name TUROK then ?

For boy's name:
Balian, as in Balian of Ibelin, the crusader, the "Defender of Jerusalem", you know Orlando Bloom. The name also used by his descendants.
Lycurgus/Lykourgos. There are quite many in Greek mythology and history. One of them is Lycurgus of Sparta, who established what we know of Sparta. You know militaristic, 300... :D Licurg would be proud! :P
How about Arthur's Knights of the Round Table like Lancelot, Galahad, Percival...
Lance, for short of Lancelot. Lance Armstrong the fastest...lol...

For girl's name:
Plaisance as in Plaisance of Antioch (1235-1261), is also a French word (pleasantness), derived from Latin 'placentia' (acceptable things) and name of places.
Atalanta, the huntress in Greek mythology.
Also the Amazons Hippolyta, Antiope, Penthesilea, Melanippe, Thalestris.
Freya or Frea from the Norse goddess Freyja.
Constance, or its variants. You can call "Connie". Perhaps she will be a talented con artist lol.

Not in but thank you. Some parental advice; Don't buy everything available for a baby - just the essentials. It'll save a few £'s and you won't have all manner of things gathering dust.

Not in the giveaway (I already own all the Creatures games). For names, I've always been partial to Katie / Katherine for a girl. For a boy, Corwin seems nice - different, but still easily pronounceable.

Advice:

1) Don't buy. Beg or borrow. Ask around and see if your married friends / parents friends have items you can still use. I know a few couples who were basically completely outfitted that way. Kids outgrow things very quickly, so the less you can spend on something that will only be useful for a few months the better. And a lot of the couples I know still have items for younger kids / babies hanging around that they'll be glad to be rid of (or maybe sell for some change) so they can get the space back.

2) Be prepared to go to the hospital or the doctor if something serious happens. Pregnancy is natural, but it's also a major health hazard.

We were the first in our circle of friends to have child and found that buying baby clothes at flea markets and church bazaars is a great was to save money. We paid € 1 per item on average, and especially the small size clothes (3-12 months) were hardly used because the little ones grow so quickly during the first year.

I would also like the recommend the babynomade blanket from red castle. It was, apart from the Ergobaby carrier, the most useful item we got as a gift from friends.
