So it begins.
Sorry to have you left out right on the first go of it Fenixp. I suppose it's going to happen to everyone at some point, might as well get one of the occurrences out of the way now.

I've been wondering how we are going to keep it alive, especially with the longer games. It's just going to end up dropping off the map during the play time and people will end up missing its existence depending on how often they stray onto the forum. I suppose having it post on its own forum area helps but, I don't know if this is just me, I don't go into them all that often. Mostly people go into them when they are having technical trouble. Then again, maybe this thread will stay active enough to keep alerting people existence to it. I suppose it's a matter of seeing how it goes. Worst case scenario we could bump the thread every so often.
This sounds good. Sign me up.
I'm in the same boat as FenixP.

Game doesn't like my computer. I'll join in on the next game.
Guess I too will wait till next month. I don't have the game and while it is on my wishlist, I am trying not to feed more games to my backlog till I beat a few of them.
great, i think i'm gonna start tonight.
It's great to see that people are joining in. Sorry to those that missed out this round.

About the problem of this falling off the radar... I'm not too sure how to deal with that. Maybe people can keep discussing here what games they would like in the next round or something to keep the topic where people will most likely see it.

I started playing the game last night and so far I'm very impressed!
I already played BG&E on the Gamecube back when it was released and it don't see it playing well with my keyboard so I will pass for this month. Great game though!
I would cast my vote for any of the infnity engine games really... Though Baldur's Gate 1 before 2 and Icewind Dale 1 before 2 as well. Though the Baldur's gate order is more important really... Specially since I have the mod installed that combines both Baldur's Gates into one game >.>
I'm not sure an entire month is necessary for Beyond Good and Evil, as it's a rather short game to say the least. I'm not sure what the average amount of gaming time available for people here is, but 100% completion in one weekend is quite doable.

A month is just a max time limit. If everyone finishes early then we can start the discussion early. I'm enjoying it enough to know that I will be finished within a month easily.
Maybe I should give this a bump so people don't forget about it!

I'm pretty close to finishing Beyond Good and Evil... so I guess a month might have been a little too much time but oh well.
This should probably be bumped.
Thanks, I didn't want to just spam my own posts here.

Maybe we can start some discussion on what we would like to play next while people finish up with BG&E.

Are we all still happy with the previous list? Maybe we can add a few on if people have anything they really want to play.
Not a GOG game, but the original Deus Ex would be interesting to do, given the various ways of completing the game. Especially since you could regulate the progression based on levels. Tons of options for comparison gameplay

Don't we just want to stick to the GoG games for now since those are the most probable to be played around here? I doubt more than 5 or 6 people will actively join the discussion as it is, and thinning that would only make it worse.

I for one owe Deus Ex and would like to finally finish it, it just doesn't strike me as a good idea to thin participants even further
