You don't need to. All of your characters you have or will create are in the same guild and willl be there until you leave.
.....unless you want to use the character's name.

You don't have to re-join. Once you're in the guild, all your characters are.

If you didn't delete him from your account than you don't need to do that. Otherwise, I don't know, I'm not sure NCsoft does that. In any case starting anew might be a good idea in that case.

Eye of the North is only Level 20 content, so it's more end-game stuff. Factions is nice if you want to get out of Elona.

Nightfall is the best choice in my opinion. Get your level up and level up your Heroes after that Eye of the north is not a bad choice. I entered it at level 16 and did just fine (noteworthy is the fact that I did that on my secondary character and already knew exactly what I was doing), its also widely varied experience.

Just complete primary quests. You should have active quest "Honing Your Skills" (to reach lvl 5). After its completion First spear Dehvad will send you again to Churrhir fields to talk to profession teachers. If you complete it, you will be able to get your secondary profession.

Good youre right next to it. The area where you choose a profession in Nightfall is called Churrhir Fields, which is just behind Kamadan. Than when you are decided on the profession talk to First Spear Dehvad to choose secondary profession. Some more info:
