Orryyrro: You can party with anyone who is in the same district of a town, outpost, mission outpost and you aren't exceeding the party limit, which is 4 or 8 in most towns, although in Prophecies the starter area's limit is 2 and there are quite a few places with a 6-person limit.

sorry i should change my previous statement: we were able to party (in our guild hall) but we couldn't go anywhere. it said that the other member of the party couldn't travel there so I'm guess that either you have to have been to the same continent as the other person at least once, or else there is some really dumb restriction where the person has to have all the same campaigns as you. but i doubt the last part is true.
Again, feel free to add me to your friends list on GW - my main character is named "Watchman Lee". Feel free to call me when I'm online, and I'll help whoever needs help. Just make sure you mention you're from GOG so I don't spend a few minutes figuring out why all these new people are calling me. ;-)

You can only go to outposts that all characters in your party has access to, you both need to have been to Kamadan to map-travel there, for instance. You aren't allowed to pull a player to an outpost s/he's never been to, they have to get there by walking, or the appropriate quest trigger, etc. the first time they go somewhere.
DAMN. Right when I go to buy the trilogy, the sale ends, and its 40$ now. SCREW YOU STEAM!

The important thing to remember is that Warriors are NOT tanks, in fact there is no class designed for tanking in Guild Wars, in fact just blowing everything up works better than tanking anyhow, but when thinking about your character remember warriors are the stabbity type not the tankity type.
Today, I picked up Guild Wars Complete Collection at Wal-Mart that has everything (Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall, and Eye of the North). Now, I'm attempting to recover my old account. *bought Prophecies right when it came out, but lost interest for awhile* I could remember the account name and reset my password, but I can't remember the name of my character.

complete? I didnt know they had one. I know of their 40$ trilogy pack but that doesnt come with eye of the north.
I think it's very new, because today's the first time I've seen it. *shrugs* It was $39.99 plus tax. Not bad to get the whole set, though I've still got my original copy of Prophecies.
I added many of you, and played with walfox thank you :-)

Different compared to the others, all combat is in instances, you need a party of sorts just about everywhere but you can bring AI henchmen and heroes to fill roles you need, you can instantly travel to any town you have been to before, PvP is done all in specific areas with team vs. team formats, no armour repairs, max level and gear takes less than a week, only allowed 8 skills on your bar so you have to plan ahead, I can go on if you would like.
