Games with any type of license that ran out are virtually buried :(. It's like the Terminator games - I asked Bethesda directly where to find the original Terminator game and they said they couldn't send it to me despite its age because the Terminator license ran out in the 90's and it's illegal to continue to sell beyond that point.

SpellSword: Can't believe I forgot all about the existence of Metaltech: Battledrome. D:

Did it have a single player to go along with its multiplayer component?
Yes, it did have singleplayer, I played the demo only against AI opponents as a matter of fact.
Rock on! ^_^

Now I definitely want to try it! -_^

Strijkbout: Not Metaltech: Battledrome?

And when I was looking up Battledrome I learned there was an </i> pack for the original [url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metaltech:_Earthsiege#Expansion_pack]Metaltech: Earthsiege! O_O

I think I read that Hi-Rez acquired the rights to Eathsiege/Starsiege series when they purchased the Tribes IP... Can't seem to remember where I saw that info though so I may be in error... >_>
Oh yeah - I thing they're connected - Tribes and Earthsiege is the same universe or something...

Yeah, I just found out about the Earthsiege expansion pack as well
Diablo: Hellfire

(alongside Diablo of course)

It's really hard to get your hands on the Diablo 1 expansion these days.

Indeed they are! ^_^
Tribes, Earthsiege & Starsiege... and I've read that there is also some kind of a connection between Starsiege and Hunter Hunted's story.

It appears that the connection to Hunter Hunted is made mostly in the games printed documentation... However I guess it explains (Maybe?) the sudden appearance of alien equipment in Starsiege along with the Human and Cybrid equipment.

If I'm remembering correctly the equipment that was listed as 'Alien' were things like Anti-grav, smart guns, etc... It's been a while so I may by misremembering it though. XD
No One Lives Forever and [url=http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/no_one_lives_forever_2_a_spy_in_harms_way]2.
I read a lot of good things about those games. But it looks like GOG may never be able to get them. :(

Obligatory link to the NOLF article / video:

Still, Night Dive might have been able to untangle it and track down the rights though - if they can do SS2 they can do NOLF!
(STILL wondering where SS1 got to though!)

LiquidOxygen80: Pretty much their entire back catalogue. There's still a HUGE amount of games that still aren't here.

IronArcturus: Have you ever played Silpheed? I read that game was pretty cool.
The Sega CD version was boss, wouldn't mind trying the original.
Who hold the right to Coktel Vision adventure games? I know that Sierra purchase the studio back in the day, that mean that the rights belong now to Activision? I would love to see Coktel Vision adventure games here (beside the Gobliiins trilogy that is) especially Woodruff and the Schnibble of Azimuth, which I think is the company best game and an excellent adventure game in general.

You'd THINK it would be Activision, yeah, dot emu have somehow ended up with the Gobiiins games though...
