Haha. I dunno, if it involves Denis Dyack, it may be the other way around. xD

ShadowWulfe: http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_search_for_game_rights_a_diaryesque_thread/page11

Anyone willing to email or politely pester different rights holders?
I guess that I can try on the Square-Enix/Eidos/Crystal Dynamics front. However the question of BO1 has been asked several times and the general answer seems to be "nothing we can do about it".
I hate this thread; it has me so tempted to reinstall my BO1 disc and if that happens I'm going to spend five hours tweeking it to get it to run followed by 72 hours of nonstop play followed by death via exhaustion and dehydration.

I hope you sick fucks are happy!

It's not that hard. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to put a link so google "the lost worlds". They have a guide you can follow to get up and running.

I may just play one of the others as I already have them installed and I don't need a disc.

Uhm, that site has links to no-cd fixes and it's possible with the CubanRaul's installer you don't need one (required to play on modern OS).

Aye, you have seen our plan tinyE, as we've seen your destiny. The future says you die.
Wow.. This game is Legend, first played and loved it on Playstation as it was released, and I got the Pc CD not long ago from a sort of Ebay, replayed it with quicker load time and I really, really like it..

It was very short as I replayed it though, expected a lot more content, but still awesome..

The VA especially for the French edition is terrific, heard the same actor in Viking Battle of Asgard, what a pro!!

If it comes out on GOG, I will buy it again, as I did for Soul Reaver 1, 2, LoK Defiance on Steam and Blood Omen 2 on GOG.

Unless you got lost. XD Make a wrong turn trying to back track and end up on the other side of the planet, ooops.

CharlesGrey: I remember playing one of the sequels on Gamecube -- was it Blood Omen 2? -- and found it rather disappointing.
Fun fact: Blood Omen 2 was not meant to be Blood Omen 2. Yeah, sounds weird, i know, but Blood Omen 2 was actually built on what remained from a cancelled Dreamcast game called Chakan 2 (a sequel to the original Chakan for the Genesis, and it's obvious that the sequel was cancelled because the Dreamcast died). Instead of building Blood Omen 2 from the ground up, they used assets from Chakan 2, which is why the game doesn't look like a sequel to Blood Omen at all. This is according to the internet, there is no official information on that, but there is indeed evidence that this was exactly what happened. The art design and characters used in Blood Omen 2 match perfectly those found in Chakan 2's project. It couldn't just be a coincidence.

Actually - all seems to imply that the similarities are not an effect of reused assets but because they were made by the same person (Steve Ross) who has a very specific style. Steve Ross said that himself but there are others who confirm his version.

It is a fact however that Soul Reaver was originally not meant to be a part of Legacy of Kain.

Edit: All this of course doesn't change the fact that BO2 doesn't deserve it's title and is the weakest part of LoK franchise. At least until Nosgoth is released.

No, seriously, installing with CubanRaul's patch is a breeze. Runs very well and is all around awesome :D

Yep. And in case you have problems with the videos, there are tools to convert them here:
http://www.nosgothica.org/index.php?id=files_eng
This can take a while, so you might just download the converted files (also available there).
seems to be working okay

The only thing I used was the CubanRaul patch.
