BloodDoll: You could say games is my profession, so playing them is normal for me. No I don't test games.

Oh, ok. You're developer or something? (I don't read every post so... maybe you already said it D:)
Well, I've tried demo just now and .. Intro is awesome. Game itself is quite average. Nothing interesting in singleplayer, and multiplayer is just too easy. True, I didn't play it for long, just two games, but I had absolutely NO problems getting trough it - it's not like I was looking for challenge, but I've expected some atmosphere from this title, fear what's behind the corner... Well, behind the corner is another bunch of various zombies. They come from other dirrection every time - so what? They're easy to kill anyway... True, unique zombies can be a problem, but nothing exactly difficult. Game's not bad... But I got bored of it and don't think it's worth 50$

You didn't play on Expert (the only difficulty worthy), did you?

Yeah on expert and with more real players playing instead of the bots, and if you play really well they make it a lot harder for you. I've seen it to the point where by the time i got to the actual train part of the map it was loaded nonstop with hordes of zombies rushing, then boomers making a second group come, nonstop hunters and smokers and a tank near the witch. It was pretty crazy. Without any Molotovs at all up to the tank, killing that with hordes spawning nonstop, to where it felt almost like a glitch because it just kept happening, really made it impossible. I noticed if you move very fast but kill everthing at the start up to where you first go up the stairs, and get a lot of headshots especially, and have at least one real person playing with you (on expert mode - it's the only way to play) that that big zombie mob can come almost continuously, in double waves, and if you can defend against it, they just keep throwing more at you. eventually one person will be left standing and the hunter smoker combo spawns and you either get choked while everyone is down or dead or the hunter kills you. At times it can be a funny experience. Unlike other games I don't mind losing so much now and then in this one.

First time seeing all those zombies vault the fence to look at the pipe bomb was gawk-worthy.
Something Awful's Left4Dead

Hey, sure I could, thanks for asking. I use X-fire mostly or YM but I can check it out. I haven't used irc in like 3 years so i forgot all the commands and stuff, so don't laugh heh. You could probably find me on steam with the add friend option too.
Actually I might not be player-friendly. I only play Zoey, so if she's taken, I wouldn't play at all.

Here's my question for people who are playing Left 4 Dead...how much life does it look like it has? What I mean is this...my concern with the game is that I'm not sure I'm still going to want to play it in 2 months. Does it have long term potential, or does it seem like something you could see yourself getting bored of?
I have a server I could hijack for you guys. The people I made it for are a bunch of unfriendly pricks.

Great :D
If this is a dedicated server you could tie it to the Good Old Games Steam group :)

I don't know yet. The modding possibilities are insane, as well as the replaying... I played a lot today and I'm not bored :D It's sometimes batshit difficult but SO FUCKING REWARDING OH MY GOD HEADSHOTS
... It's a great game for LANs imo, and playing it with buddies via Teamspeak or something is really great. The 4 campaigns are diversified graphically and the mood is quite great. I don't know if you get bored quickly... I guess it depends on that, because endlessly shooting zombies is "kind of" boring, if you don't particularly like zombies or Arcade shooters.
