Anyone else play this game? It's pretty fun, and the quality is great for a free game. Sure you can pay for early access to the champions, but it really isn't that hard to get enough in-game currency to buy them yourself. Not to mention free ones rotate every week.

Good game. I quickly got tried of the horrendously bad community though, so when I feel like playing a bit of LoL I usually play against bots. Much more relaxed, and everyone's a lot friendlier.

I've just started doing coop games in the mornings for the daily ip. I'll get back into normal games eventually, but not until the high from Guild Wars 2 has worn off.

I assume you're on the NA server?
I've been considering creating an account there for a while (it's a pity and a pain you can not simply have one account for all three servers/regions). What time do you usually play at?

As for the community, it gets better once you reach level 30, not really good, but better than the hell-hole it is in lower level regions.

I was thinking of installing the game after they released the AI but I don't know, MOBA games are so competitive that I lose interest. How is the AI?

The AI plays most champs reasonably well, not like a human would, but they can present a challenge (for a newbie like me) and they play most champs in their given role.

Yeah, they're surprisingly good. Obviously not up to the level of a good player, but they can work together and do their roles correctly. I've actually gotten beaten by the AI on at least two games.

i like to scratch that itch with some dota2 once in a while, but i suck at it

I'll probably play around 6 most nights. But with soccer and school starting now in full swing, not sure I'll have much time.

Yeah, it's nice a touch for those who like to play casually but still want IP.

So, what champs does everyone like? Big fan of Lux, personally. Nice middleground between carry and support and her Ult is oh-so satisfying. I also like Mundo and Sion. Haven't played in a while, so I can't mention much else.

I play Nasus (got the free RIOT K9 Nasus from PAX last year), so I make someone like Lux my bitch. If someone manages to deny me my Q farm it can be slow going. But end game Nasus will take 3 enemy champs to down during his Ult. He's bloody scary. The list of champs that can zone him is pretty big, though, so he's not popular in the meta-game of people who actually play seriously.

Oh yeah, Nassus is pretty cool. I got a free Pantheon because I didn't play for like a year (if you're inactive for a long time they send you a Patheon skin, and skins unlock the Champ if you don't have 'em) and he's fairly fun. I also enjoy Singed when I'm in the mood for something a bit different/

I like Nasus a lot too. Its my first week though, so I've only had one round of frees, but I'm best with him.

EDIT: Also, you can apparently subscribe to Riot on Youtube to get Alistar. I don't remember whether I have him, but he's very cool and pretty simple to play. To Youtube!
