It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

kavazovangel: I have a suggestion... stop reading forums about DRM-related topics, stop caring about DRM, figuring whether this DRM is more or less bad, and just enjoy the games you've bought.
Yeah right, bow down and put your head in the sand has always been the most intelligent thing and most efficient thing to do when you disagree with something.

Believing that cracks and pirated version will always remain as easily available as they are today is definitely living in fantasy.

So long as people want them, this can only be accomplished by destroying the open internet.

The Internet isn't a intangible thing floating in space, all it would takes is a SOPA+ laws removing the safe harbor protection of ISP to pass and things could change pretty fast. Would it make them totally disappear, no, but it would make them a lot harder to obtain.

then... you download them now and you'll have them for when you need them, kind of the same as you would with a Gog downloader?

Heck, even DRM free installers are susceptible. God knows what Windows 8 or later OS'es will do, it may be barely possible to use them at all. Nothing lasts forever.

Zolgar: First, DRM iis Digital Rights Management.. which is odd because it should actually be Distribution Rights Management, but that's beside the point.

...even a CD key is DRM in the simplest form..

All DRM is, at all, is a means for the IP holder to attempt to prevent unauthorized redistribution of their IP. That is ALL IT IS.
Incorrect. I of course know DRM is "Digital Rights Management". But this is misleading and wrong. So we opt to call it "Digital Restrictions Management".

BIGGEST MISTAKE!:
" All DRM is, at all, is a means for the IP holder to attempt to prevent unauthorized
redistribution of their IP. That is ALL IT IS. "

A lot people mistake CD-Key for DRM. While they are not. Cd-key is not DRM. It is just a way to understand. DRM is not an attempt to prevent unauthorized redistribution. It is out there to "RESTRICT" you. To "CONFINE" you. And it is "MALICIOUS". Not about protecting rights. But violating rights. So no CD-Key is not about DRM:

Instead of doing jokes why don't you concentrate on content, on what i am really trying to tell.

What nonsense.

Is it restricting you? Yes. Why is it doing that? So you don't do stuff with it you're not supposed to. So is it violating your rights? No. Since you don't have the rights to do that with it. Because the Digital Rights that you "own" of this copy, don't permit you to do that. Even the GOG games you own DRM free are still only meant for personal use.

Some people are in the belief that as soon as something is on their side of the internets they can/should be able to do anything they want with it, and that is something that simply conflicts heavily with a sustainable gaming economy, since quite simply ... they need money to do what they do. And the more leeway you give people, the more people will be willing to take it.

I agree with this.

I'd rather play a game for a few hours than to bitch about games for a few hours.
