We'll be removing a number of games from the GOG.com catalog - here's your last call to get them with a special discount!

Today, we're here to honor the promise we gave you to announce ahead of time whenever we're taking a game down from sales. We wanted to give you one last chance to get the titles we're delisting with a considerable discount, and the partners involved agreed. There are 35 games on that list and you can get them all for up to 80% off until Tuesday, September 2, at 3:59AM GMT. Any title you buy will remain in your collection even after it's removed from our catalog, so you can always download and re-download the installers and bonus content. Check out the promo page to see which games this concerns.

We're still ironing out a few details. For now, the promo pages, like the one for the Last Chance Special, list all the game prices only in US dollars. But don't freak out: if you chose to use your local currency you will see the prices in local currency in checkout, and you can still finalize the transaction in local currency. We hope to have this issue fixed within the next weeks.

I bet most of these games will return before the new year; on the basis that this move was necessary more as a marketing ploy (pushes regional pricing for GOG, drives up sales for Nordic) and that all parties seem to enjoy a good relationship so likelihood of restoration seems optimal. Fingers crossed.

Unfortunately I'm too poor atm of all times for this to happen, would have loved to pick these games up before they're gone.

I hope these games come back. Bad luck and bad timing.

well, looks like I'll be getting the dark fall games from Steam or something. I'd hit my limit. will I be getting them for anything over $2 for both over there? nope!

The sale just ended and most of the game pages are now 404ed, but for some reason Silver is still available for purchase. Strange...

EDIT: Nevermind, it's gone now, it just took a few more minutes for some reason :/

I added three of the games to my cart just before removal; they are still in my cart at full discount... I wonder how long they will remain (it'd be funny if I completed the purchase of removed from sale games a few weeks from now).

Edit: Trying to check out removes the illicit games/discounts from my cart. Only Painkiller Black remains.

The games disappeared from my library too - at least Gothics, Guilds, and SIlver are gone from my shelf.

Certainly this is a bug, otherwise that'd have been a really mean spirited 85% off sale.

They also just disappeared from my library, I was in the middle of downloading them (the download is still running though). Refreshing doesn't help, they are still gone.
I assume they will return and it is merely a mistake, but I wanted to reply so you knew you weren't the only one.

This is a glitch that has occurred each time a game has been removed. You should just wait till they fix it.
