Who's buying the hell out of this game when it comes out in a couple weeks?
Once again I'll be waiting for the reviews, pretty much every promising game is a disappointment these days.
Not for PC's?

FFFFFFFUUUUUUUU

...yet, I hope.
I'll be waiting for the reviews too.
Rockstar often makes quite good games, but I really wasn't that impressed with the gameplay of GTA IV. the world was impressive (so was the overuse of DRM for the PC), but it just lacked the fun the older ones had.

Red dead redemption is nice too. Very well done, loads to do, but again it's not very focused gameplay wise I find. It's nice for hopping into and just riding around enjoying the scenery. But not that impressive gameplay wise.

And having to swap discs occasionally is a bit of a caveat to me as I have an XBox

What's L.A. Noire? Lol, no I heard about it but actually(seriously) only very recently with some of the newer TV ads and an article in my Gamestop magazine.

Also I may play it after pirat...err buying the shit out of it. Only time will tell.
About as interested as Rockstar in releasing RDR for PC - not at all.
Ah! This is the game i will get after trading in tiger woods 12, Its just come out i know but TW12 is really bad, Others agree
Seems Rockstar have all but given up on the PC, I wouldn't hold out hopes for this. In fact I am expecting them to announce GTA V as a console exclusive.
The RDR situation is getting pretty grim for the PC but I do feel it is worth pointing out that they have taken over a year to port several games before like Bully and Manhunt 2, off the top of my head. I don't think we can write-off a PC version of RDR or LA Noire yet, given Rockstar's past PC port timeframes.

That said a year without a peep on RDR is discouraging. I'll be getting a PS3 someday for some console exclusives and RDR will be at the top of my list then if it isn't on PC yet.

I believe the last game Rockstar released on PC the same year as the console version was Grand Theft Auto 2...or maybe Max Payne 2. Think it took them around 2 years to get around to releasing Vice City on the PC

The GTAs have all been pretty close actually. If you go to wikipedia they all came out about 6 months later. RDR is not GTA though and many other Rockstar series came out much later than their console counterparts. For example Manhunt 2, according to Wikipedia, was 2 years after the console versions.

I pre-ordered and am looking forward to it. My wife likes mysteries and is actually voicing an interest. Perhaps we'll informally co-op :-)
Me. Looks like that game will kick ass (and chew gum).

Wouldn't that reduce the conflict, and make for no murders to solve? Kinds sounds boring. :P

I've been looking forward to this for a long time. I'll see how it gets reviewed, but I have plenty of other stuff to play if it doesn't pan out. Love the setting/idea though.

There's too many good games this month, I'm just happy FEAR 3 got pushed back. Gives me time to enjoy them, but this is definitely a first day purchase for me. Most likely go down at midnight to pick it up.
