Okay, I'm just going to stay over here, you keep reading your book quietly, I'm sure the men in their nice white coats will be here for you very soon.
cogadh, before this gets seriously out of hand, let me point out a few things.
1. I'm pretty sure Gragt is being sarcastic.
2. I'm pretty sure the reason he is being sarcastic is because you are arguing both ways. You say we shouldn't believe anything that is posted on the internet, but you want us to believe the things you are saying... that are posted on the internet.

Actually, Gragt is posting second or third hand stuff that has already been shown to be false, I'm posting first hand knowledge. Whether or not you believe me is up to you, but consider the source of my information compared to Gragt's.

Because TG and the people orbiting around it showed how reliable they can be.

How so? No one associated with the mod has ever lied or misled anyone about what is happening with the mod, that stuff only comes from those who are dissatisfied with the mod's progress and seek to discredit it, such as the source of that "chat log" you posted.

But I don't know your source of information, nor his. Also, unless you claim to be the sole guy working on the TGSLRP, your information is not first hand. To you, it's second hand, and to me, it's third hand, provided you've actually been told these things by the guy himself. Also, none of you can be said to be objective on the matter.
Please understand, I'm not calling you a liar. The thing is, simply, that the things you know, cannot be known by anyone else, except the same way you came to know them. And since your claimed source does not choose to speak openly...
Or maybe he does, and I just haven't been able to find anything. In which case, please provide links.

Like I said, you can choose to believe me or not, but my information is quite first hand. Gragt's, on the other hand, was posted on one forum (whose name embarrassingly escapes me right now) that is known for its very vocal disdain of T-G (and strong support of the leak), repeated on many others, including Obsidian's forums, where it was finally refuted by the person referenced as "icur_mmm" in that chat log. The falseness of that log has already been confirmed by both team members and the beta testers, also on Obsidian's and T-G's forums.

But this log is a lot more fun than the so called "real" one, so it must be true. Besides it would have surprised me if the little bitches did not deny it whenever they could. Y SO SIRIUS?

Right, a concrete question: does anyone know if the swoop racing jump bug has been fixed? Or for that matter whether it will be fixed by either restoration project?

Well, I played both KOTOR's a while back, and at this point, I can't really distinguish between the story lines of 1 and 2.
What I do know though, is that KOTOR is the second best RPG I've ever played (it's only bested by Oblivion). Personally, I don't remember there being too many bugs, and none that could obscure the fantastically constructed storyline.
I would try it out, but don't go looking for bugs, play the game for what it is: a highly regarded role-playing game with a ridiculously immersive universe.

It's not about "trying it out", I already played through it back when it was new. And you don't need to look for bugs and content cuts, they jump out at you. What I'm trying to find out (that noone has been able to tell me yet) is how much has been fixed in the patches that have been released since then.
