I'm curious about the DRM state of Konung 3: Ties of the Dynasty and haven't really found out anything.

GamersGate lists SecuROM as its DRM. Is that still true? If so, can it be patched out (officially / legally)?

I believe a DRM free version was included in the Groupees 1C bundle along with a Steam key.

Does the Steam version have SecuROM?

The Steam version doesn't have SecuROM. Can't say whether it uses CEG or not.

The European boxed version is DRM-free

Can't say re: the GamersGate version.

I have to say to definitely avoid anything with SecuROM. It embeds itself in the Registry and is next to impossible to delete. SecuROM was especially bad with the first Bioshock.
