I started a wishlist entry for Konami in general, granted they really haven't released much for the PC lately but their backlog has got some really great titles that would make for a perfect fit on GOG.

vote it up and hope that GOG can twist the right nipples to get them on board!
Oh God no not the MGS2 port, please anything but that. I think it gets the award for "Worst Console Port Ever". MGS1 and SH2/3 work fine on Windows 7 though.

Also, Policenauts never got an English translation, correct?
it got a fan translation, it was getting a offical port at one time but there were complications with it and it got shelved ... that -was- years ago though, and emulation tech was not what it it now.

Policenauts is considered one of the greatest games, and would make for a dandy feather in GOGs cap if they could get Konami on board and work out an Offical translation and re-release.
Silent Hill 2 and 3 would be nice to have legally available again. The MGS games though... no thanks. Not only are they horrible ports, but they're also just not good games IMO.
None of the Castlevania games had a PC release, I think.
That makes Konami a big meanie pants.

I'm telling mom!
Whatever we get from them better have ONE MEELION TROOPS.

They're a very Japanese-focused company and PC gaming does not exist there.

Suddenly I wonder how Symphony of the Night runs on the PSX emulator.

And yet I beat three of them on an emulator.

Decently well, but not well enough on mine, so I bought it on PSN. Was worth the 10 bucks.

Symphony of the Night is also on XBLA, I think?

I've seen the Policenauts translation thing - seemed almost like a Visual Novel (if you're familiar with the concept) more than a game per se. Didn't feel the need to investigate it further.

A quick look-up indicates that Konami did pc versions of Vandal Hearts and Suikoden II - really? Anyone ever see those? Vandal Hearts was a stunning SRPG on the PS1, never heard about it coming to PC...
Well Konami really has very little to offer, so GOG should probably not waste a lot of time on persuading them to join. So I'm going to downvote this.. oh wait that's not possible, well than I just won't vote for it.
Konami Collector's Series: Castlevania & Contra was released 10 years ago. Konami ported/emulated the NES versions of Castlevania 1, 2 and 3, and Contra 1 and 2 to Windows. There are still some copies on Amazon, but it's US shipping only. Apparently it'll work with Vista and 7.

Hardly the worst port ever. It is still far superior to the Final Fantasy 7 & 8 ports that Squenix/Eidos did.

There is a PC market in Japan, but it does seem to be very different from the one that we know & love. They have the whole Doujin scene (the best known games are probably the Touhou series)

I think I just had a seizure watching that.
